I always look forward to doing these annual summaries to see what most connected with you in the past year. After more than a decade of writing this blog, I often feel like a dinosaur and it can be easy to overlook why I started in the first place.
Instagram reels This year has given me a creative spark, as I have always loved making fun, short videos. I’m so happy to see these as the most saved and pinned posts!
I can’t finish the year without mentioning it too Edited Parts (Instagram). Working on this brand and seeing your response to it rekindled a waning passion. I was a bundle of nerves on launch day and in my wildest dreams I never dreamed of your tremendous support by selling everything. This shows me that we’re headed in the right direction in trying to meet the fit needs that mainstream retailers ignore (shorter boots, tight ankle bracelets, belts that really fit – just to name a few!).
This year more than ever—thank you, thank you, thank you to each and every one of you who have supported this blog in your own way over the years so that I can continue to pursue my dreams and grow this community in new ways.
We wish each of you and your family the best in this new year! We are here to achieve any goals you may have, no matter how big or small.

Reader’s Favorite Purchases
Comfort was key on last year’s list, from practical wardrobe staples (ahem, #2) to flats, leggings, and knits. I’m also happy to see a few favorites from previous years proving themselves to be tried-and-true winners.
1. Straight Leg Jeans
I never thought I could love a pair of jeans more than skinny ones, but these two pairs proved me wrong and hit the EP’s bestseller list. I have both been in heavy rotation and always get questions about what the difference is between them. In a nutshell, the Levi’s Wedgie has a tapered leg and button fly, while the Topshop Straight has a true straight leg and zipper fly. I shortened the length of my Levi’s but Topshop fit perfectly without any adjustments.
Honor Award: Levi’s denim shorts, my summer vacation.

2. The Most Comfortable Bra + Unpretentious Underwear
I reviewed it for the bottom half your best advice underwear brands that don’t look comfortable and the winner (chantelle) also became one of the most read!
3. Ilia Eyeshadow Palette
also follain, where you can use JEANWANG with 10% discount
This was a fun surprise to discover as a top buy! I started using this palette as part of a year ago. My 10 minute makeup routine and still a daily visit. The brand is focused on clean ingredients, the formula applies and blends smoothly, and the neutral colors work beautifully for both everyday and evening looks.
4. Everlane Court Sneakers
These are an old item that got a lot of love last year! The retro-inspired look has grown bigger on me, and I appreciate that they’re even flattering on dresses (very rare for me, sneakers) alongside jeans and leggings.
PS: They have updated the sneakers recently, so the colors available are slightly different from mine (color name is “fog”).
Honor Award: oversized alpaca sweater, an old Everlane favorite that has worn out more than ever in the past year.

5. Charles David OTK Boots by Charles
Another vintage buy that has resurfaced and soared near the top of this reader favorite list! These are a great value for very practical, leg-stretching boots that I’ve walked a total of about a hundred miles around Boston and during travels.

7. Petite-Friendly Tights
My daily nursery pick and drop uniform. Minion friendly 7/8 length Zella tights always a reader favorite (updated this year with better fitted pockets!), but for a sleeker leggings that looks great from sneakers to heels, Commando “leather” tights It has incredible holding and shaping power.

8. DV Braided Sandals
My most comfortable and worn-out heels have been in over a year where most of my heels have been sitting and collecting dust. This neutral shade goes with everything, but they also come in over 10 color options!

10. Sam Edelman Combat Boots
Also available at: bel, bloomingdales, Nordstrom, SE. My favorite boots for the second year in a row. It’s comfortable enough to wear even when carrying or pushing a stroller of stray kids around the city. These instantly bring an outfit from basic to chic mommy status, or so I tell myself!

11th. J.Crew Juliette Pullover Blazer
In a year where many of us are increasingly adopting longer, flowy lengths, this one has surpassed my beloved Sophie cardigan in terms of wear. I still wish J.Crew would downsize like they did with Sophie!
