Straight denim clothes – Petite winter capsule wardrobe ideas

I am always a fan of a good foundation outfit that can be styled in different ways using layers and accessories. A cream sweater and a pair of straight jeans are high on my winter capsule list, and from flats to heels to sneakers, the possibilities are endless. Since many of you have mentioned that you rarely wear heels these days, I wanted to share 3 simple outfit ideas that all feature flats.

These topshop jeans It was my first step into the world of straight jeans years ago and it remains a classic. The rise is slightly lower than my A&F pairs and the legs are slightly wider cut. I wear the 25 x 30 size without any adjustments, but they can be easily shortened to any length at home as there is a raw edge to begin with. 1. with Lug Sole Chelsea Boots

Reliable as a chunkier, lace-free alternative SE combat bootsI bought the Laguna Chelsea boots after seeing so many good reviews around IG. These come in a trendy silhouette with square toe and scalloped soles, and tons of color options. I wanted a lighter neutral boot to pair with my winter whites and creams. For your first few wears, I recommend wearing longer socks to prevent the boot shaft from rubbing against your leg. A friend shared that she recently wore these on her European vacation while walking for miles in snowy weather!

It took a few decades, but the local sneaker brand finally caught my interest and I love both my off-white and black shoes! As a sneaker option that covers the ankle, they pair particularly well with straight-leg jeans. I went with Remove Converse All Star style – the platform adds some comfort and height, but not so tall that I feel like it’s going to round my ankle. Sit wise, these were a bit large, so go size down if they’re between half sizes, and the Converse tends to be narrow at the toe. Many of you have also recommended: leather platforms as a stylish alternative to canvas.

3. With Flats – Loafers, Pointed, Ballet

A good neutral flat is definitely a wardrobe staple, and I highly recommend it as a more casual alternative to the pointed toe. this loafer or check out these ballet flats these are a very close Chanel search.
