Monday Thoughts- Medicare, Feet, and Dress of the Week

[ad_1]

Happy Monday ladies. Now that I’m on Medicare, I’ve noticed a few weird changes. I had my annual checkup with my primary care doctor last week, but it’s no longer called a physical exam. It’s called a health visit, which reminds me of the health visit where I took my kids for a checkup. The survey seemed to focus solely on my mental health and physical limitations, which I found oddly depressing.

He gave me the latest pneumonia vaccine, and after checking all my vitals, we looked at my chart. Sheesh, it’s too long! I’ve already had my annual mammogram, but this year it’s time for a colonoscopy, a full blood test and a contrast CT of my lungs. They found a small spot in my lungs about ten years ago and they’re watching it because I was smoking a lot years ago. They also found a small spot on my husband’s liver. turned into lung cancer. Early detection is key, so I’m open to any tests my doctors think are a good idea. Actually, I’m considering paying for a full body scan. Have any of you done this?

Another topic we talked about was my feet and how much they hurt. He thinks I have arthritis in my left big toe, but I have a bunion-like feeling in my other foot that I surgically corrected, so I’m not convinced. He looked at my shoes (mules) and gave them a thumbs down for my feet. 🙄 I bought some comfort shoes last week, but for short outings, I can still wear cute shoes if they feel secure on my feet and have cushioning.

outfit of the week

MINIMALISM CAP / SAILOR HERITAGE CHINESE TROUSERS / LARGE TWIST OPEN RING EARRINGS / COTTON KNITTED DIFFICULT JACKET / STRIPED TOP / RECYCLED LEATHER SHOULDER BAG / EVONNE SANDALS / BLOOM LIPSTICK IN “BURST” / CAT EYE SUNGLASSES

Outfit of the week this week is a little fun sandals by Soft. I’ve owned a few of his shoes over the years and now I’m going to look again at the ones I have. I like that these stick to your feet firmly but still let your feet breathe. They come in seven colors, sizes 6-11.

I ALSO LIKE YOUR LOOK THESE SOFT SANDALS AND THEY THINK IT GOES GOOD WITH THE CLOTHING.

I’m not a big fan of woven chore jackets being boxed but I like this one Cotton sweater version from Everlane. It comes in 3 colors and is a great weight for spring. Chinese she has a wonderful straight leg and comes in sizes 23-37 in 5 colors regular, petite and long. I added long sleeve classic striped t-shirt (on sale), an architectural shoulder bag pointed downwards, classic hoop earrings these are nothing but ordinary and 78% off and some cool tones ie 73% off. Actually, hat also on sale.

With thoughts about our trip to Mexico in mind, I browsed some swimwear options. Here’s what I found at Kohl’s…

Thanks for reading, and don’t forget to wear what makes you feel safe and doesn’t kill your feet.
