Outfit of the Week: Brooks Brothers

For busy working women, a suit is often the easiest outfit to wear in the morning. In general, this is not about the feature interview suits for womenIt should be as classic and simple as you can get – instead, this feature is about slightly different suits that are trendy yet professional.

It’s a little off-season – but I feel like the person buying it wouldn’t really care if it’s pre-holiday or holiday season.

I don’t know exactly why, but this velvet trouser suit covered with tiny velvet ducks tickles me. Is it ready? Definitely. Is it also a bit of rock n roll? I think yes – for some reason I could totally see some rockers (Maybe Maneskin?) who wear suits also wear that.

(Huh: Or… the velvet + ruffle top made me think of Austin Powers? Hmmn.)

Either way: I still think this is a fun set, and I think you can get a lot of wear out of the pieces, both separately and together.
