We seem to be pulling my clothes off more than usual lately, which I find illuminating. I wear neutrals most of the time and sneakers most of the time because we do a lot of walking around the city.
We’ve only been traveling for less than two weeks and I’m already fed up with my wardrobe…which is crazy because I took a lot of clothes with me!
My husband freaked out when he saw that I had chosen which sneakers to wear because I brought twice as many pairs as he did, plus loads of sandals, slip-on shoes, some wedges and low heels.
I overpacked some items and underpacked others. I blame my lack of organization and quickly recovered before I left. A capsule wardrobe is the best way to pack for travel, but mine has some big holes. I have collected very few accessories and they add variety and personality to the outfits! I hate to admit it, but I might have to do some shopping.
Splurge or Saving
I thought it would be fun to share another splurge or save the outfit today. It consists of some great classic basics. Essential pieces can form the solid backbone of your wardrobe and blend and fit to give you flexibility when putting an outfit together. They come at all price points and don’t have to be expensive.
I love a great striped shirt. This look combines a pink and white striped tee with gorgeous white jeans, simple gold hoops, woven bracelets, a straw bag, and classic turtle sunglasses.
The splurge outfit is about $3,332 and the salvage outfit is about $194.
