Monday Thoughts: Splurge or Saving and Need Your Opinion

[ad_1]

Happy Monday ladies. I have a lot on my mind this week and I would really love to hear your input.

RELEASE OR SAVE

These price comparison posts are always popular with you ladies, so I thought we’d make one thinking about fall outfits today.

Temperatures may not be dropping in the neck of the woods anytime soon, but to prepare for the arrival of fall, stores have flagged all of their wares.

Most of the fall fashion we see first includes faux or real leather, booties, wool coats and jackets, and richer neutrals. Western booties are a big trend again this fall, so today’s look offers two options. Paisley is a popular year-round print, but especially in the fall.

The thrift outfit comes in at $426 and the splurge is around $7,165. Can you tell which outfit costs less just by looking? Was there an item that gave it away for you?

Tiny Trial

I tried last week a ton of things On sale at Nordstrom, and most of them are already sold out. Here are a few that still have some stock:

i tried this knit blazer in three of the five colors it comes in and in a variety of sizes. The sweatshirt is in a fleece-like fabric, a fun casual piece for fall. It does not close, so you wear it open as a third layer. These are great jeans it’s been out and restocking for a few days now and appears to be out of stock now. I bought the t-shirt one size smaller and could go up a size because it’s a very tight fit.

It’s hard to go wrong with a leopard print top for fall. Vince Camuto does a great job with a nice silky feel fabric that you can dress or wear. The pants are a rich chocolate brown that I’ve seen plenty for fall. They are flexible and you can take you to work or dress them up with a sweater and flat shoes. This fringed cardigan is super soft and quite roomy, so I recommend going one size smaller. It came in brown, but that sold out quickly and they have black in stock.

Unfortunately these jeans sold out after I bought them. They look great, I love the brand. This couple is very similar. I love seeing the return of raglan sleeves, which I find much more flattering on most women. This wool and cashmere v-neck sweater It comes in three gorgeous colors and is still in stock.

Here is the navy blue knit jacket that is probably my favourite. I wear it over the cotton button I shared here. These Kudos to Kloth Jean Lots of beautiful washes that will look great on booties this fall. I’m very happy to see the extended legs continue as they flatter most figures and make our legs appear longer when worn over a small heel.

This cashmere blend jacket It is a lovely burgundy shade for fall. It is not lined and is clearly mentioned in the description. Ideal for places where autumn and winter are milder. It runs large so I would downsize. I bought this cashmere sweater in this shade. I love it!

I love fashion and style, but I believe there is more to a good life than just what you wear. I love sharing lifestyle topics and anything that helps us age in the healthiest way possible. When planning my content for late summer and autumn, I focus on healthy aging, fashion, beauty, skincare, etc. I would like to know which topics you would like to see more. Please share in the comments.

Thanks for reading, and be sure to wear what makes you feel safe.
