Monday Thoughts: Shaking Things

[ad_1]

Happy Monday ladies. Today I’m sharing what’s new at the zoo and what we did last week. It was pretty bleak in Vancouver, so we took a seaplane to Vancouver Island, which was warmer and sunnier. I can’t imagine where my brain was when I neglected to take a raincoat and umbrella with me for this trip, but it was certainly not in a logical vacuum. I use my two Eric Javits sun hats to shelter from the rain and borrow my husband’s jackets.

You didn’t read I wrote this but I actually like this jacket. Spacious and handled the job comfortably

There are several companies that fly these routes and this time we chose Seair. It’s a quick 15 minute flight to Nanaimo and the views are spectacular. I shared the reel my journey here.

this hat labeled straw, but it’s actually made from a 95% polypropylene, 5% polyester blend and takes a real hit. I’ve owned, handled, and cut this hat into small bags for years and it always comes back into shape! It got soaked in the rain before boarding this plane, but bounced back with a few pulls to its brim.

Shaking Machines

Have you heard of vibrating platform machines for fitness? My aunt showed me hers, and I couldn’t resist trying it. It feels weird!

I’ve heard it helps with blood circulation and fluid retention, so I took a deep dive to see more about them. The Mayo Clinic reports that whole-body vibration can reduce back pain, improve strength and balance in older adults, and reduce bone loss. There isn’t a lot of research on the benefits of these machines, but they seem popular. Have you tried one?

New Suitcase

My husband and I both raised Greater Transport Flexibility That Away For our trip to Portugal this fall. It’s only slightly larger than the Mono’s bag, but its flexible option means I can expand it a few inches, which makes a huge difference in the amount of stuff I can stuff in it. Have you ever noticed that dirty clothes take up more room in the suitcase than clean clothes?

We spent some time at my favorite beach on the island, soaking up the fresh air and stunning scenery. Here is a small video I made that visit-

We didn’t intentionally color-coordinate our shirts

this hat It’s made from the same polypropylene/polyester as my other Eric Javits hats and feels just as indestructible. I tucked this in my suitcase for the trip and it looked like new!

I ALSO LEFT THIS ON THE MIRROR IN JAPAN

I left as expected my suction cup mirror it got stuck on the window of the hotel we were staying in, so I’ll have to reorder it. Thankfully they’re not expensive because I drop them off all over the world. This time I will order a slightly stronger magnification.

I’ve already started getting emails about Nsale, and you? I’m at ambassador level so I can’t shop until July 12. What day will you shop?

Have a great week and be sure to wear what makes you feel safe.
