Happy Monday from beautiful Vancouver, BC. A reader questioned a summer outfit that I showed a few weeks ago and that included jeans. I knew it was suitable for people living in coastal climates, and the outfits I wore over the weekend proved it.

We woke up to a light drizzle on Saturday, light fog and temperatures hovering in the sub-50s. I remember Juneuary very well in Vancouver and I was prepared for it.
I could wear a light t-shirt and linen pants, but my butt would freeze, so jeans, sneakers, a chambray shirtand i’m comfortable oversized Quince cashmere cardigan. Returning to Pacific NW has given me a new appreciation for our diverse wardrobe needs by location. My bag is Longchamp and it’s as old as the hills. I grabbed the scarf from a discount box before our trip to Mexico in the spring.
Sunday we woke up to bright sunshine and amazing temperatures. The weather still wasn’t linen, so I chose another pair of jeans, sneakers, and a striped button-down shirt in neutral shades of beige and white.
you will notice two tiny I have sephora bags. I won’t say it’s my favorite store to visit, but spending hours there, browsing and sampling… just like in a bookstore, it’s where I’m truly happy.
I filled mine Tower 28 mascara and I also fell for another brand that I could easily become obsessed with. I’ll share more about it after testing it. I didn’t think anything can steal mine Illia mascara got rid of its favorite pedestal… but this mascara has it! I threw away my eyelash curler after using this for a few weeks and my daughter got my own eyelash curler after trying mine.
It’s cruelty-free, free of bad content, and an Allure Best of Beauty award winner. There’s something unique about the curve of the brush-type wand that makes my lashes look long, curled, and clump-free.
Hair
I had a haircut planned for this week, which is definitely not happening and definitely can’t wait a few months until I get home. I suddenly felt so out of shape that I’m going to have to find someone here. I feel the urge to reinsert some layers or toss a lob about 3 inches from the bottom. I don’t remember when or why we decided to grow a few of my layers, but I think I need them back.
