Coffee Break: Playbill Collage Storage Box

Here’s a great gift idea – or something fun to pamper yourself (which is exactly what I’ve been doing recently).

I used to throw my Playbills in a drawer on our coffee table, but recently I decided I wanted a nice storage box for them. I did some searching on Etsy and found this seller, sarahjcl13, who makes great Broadway collage boxes. You can choose the theme for your Playbill collage with a choice of (1) Tony Winners, (2) the 2022–2023 Broadway season, or (3) a custom selection. You can customize the box for a few dollars more.

When the box arrived (I chose the Tony Winners option), I found it to be sturdy, very well made (much better than my jigsaw attempts years ago), and perfect for holding my Playbills and other theatrical programs. Definitely a good buy! (I can get one for my mom for Christmas too…)

Alternatively, if you want to spend a little less, look for an acid-free storage box. This From Pioneer available on Amazon.

PS What Broadway shows have you seen and loved lately? I watched “Hadestown” last year (highly recommend!) and got tickets to “Kimberly Akimbo” for December. (Also, have you ever staged it? I did it once during the “The Book of Mormon” tour and got a lot of cast autographs.)
