Autumn 2021 is the year of knitting! Sincere sweaters in bright colors, Creative shapes and interesting textures are the latest way to look on trend, and the selection is almost overwhelming.

If there’s a sweater that looks like autumn, this is it! I found this gorgeous turtleneck It’s on Amazon and instantly fell in love with the chunky shaker knit and stunning Autumn color. The rusty-orange shade (called clay) looks great with the dark blue wash that’s really in vogue right now.
One of the nice things about this sweater is that it is cotton. I’ve learned since menopause that I can’t wear a wool sweater like I used to. Cotton is much cooler, especially if you’re a woman over 50!
I teamed my sweater with similarly colored suede booties and added a neutral taupe crossbody bag that captured the light color of the sweater. I think the gold chain gives this outfit a more luxurious look.

This next sweater highlights another hot on-trend color blocking. The block in the middle is the same color and stitching as my turtleneck, similar to the color of the first sweater I showed you. I’ve always been a fan of color blocking and I especially love the cool, modern mix of these colors Crew neck color block sweater. This sweater is also a deep v tunic style. Can you believe I landed on this fancy fence that fits my sweater!
You can wear this sweater with blue jeans but I find that black jeans look richer and really pop. These are the new high-waisted cropped straight-leg jeans that everyone is wearing. I like myself more than skinny jeans. They are super proud. I also added some cute suede mules to complete the look.
