Wide Leg Pants Outfit of the Week

[ad_1]

Happy Monday ladies. I’ve been thinking long and hard about my wardrobe this week. Where it works, where I’m failing and how I need to set things up. When triple-digit temperatures hit last week, I found my wardrobe was sadly missing again! I’m also sharing this week’s wide-leg trousers combination, which has the elements I may need in my changing style recipe.

LAST WEEKEND WE Spent 2 AWESOME DAYS BY MOUNTAIN LAKE

My habit of wearing a pair of jeans and a simple top (yes, it’s a habit) isn’t going to cut it from day to day in hot weather. And because I love jeans, I have jeans more than anything else in my wardrobe…which makes my habit easier.

WEARING / STRAW HAT / CLASSIC COTTON POPLIN SHIRT / JEAN SKIRT / SLIP ON ESPADRILS

I have cotton and linen blended clothes, but they require ironing, which I don’t want to do in this hot weather. Them can It can be worn as soon as it comes out of the dryer, but I prefer ironing it. I own a few denim skirts, but even they feel very warm in this sweltering heat because their structural shape and fabric allow less airflow.

WEARING / STRAW HAT / SAME KAFTAN IN DIFFERENT COLOR

I’ve tried caftan way and I know they don’t suit my shape at all, so I’ll reserve them for tropical vacations, pool trips, and home days. I don’t wear shorts and I think capri pants don’t boast. I know this is not a popular opinion. Many of you love them, and brands for middle-aged women continue to roll them out, so I’ll keep styling them for you… but I don’t plan on wearing them.

As our bodies, position and lifestyle change, we need to adjust our wardrobe. My time has passed for a change, obviously due to our climate. We can radically change how we want to look or make subtle updates. I’m going for the delicacy right now and will share more in the coming weeks. I’ve always gravitated towards structured clothing because of my body shape and taste, but I plan to try looser silhouettes and see where it takes me.

Outfit of the week in Natural Fibers

This wide leg combination of the week has natural fibers that will breathe and comfortable shapes that give a feeling of comfort to the body. The shapes are semi-structured but have a looser silhouette.

i love the shape this palm leaf boatman. The short hem adds a playful touch of drama and provides plenty of protection from the sun. My sunglasses are always polarized because I’m as serious about protecting my eyes from the sun as my skin and this shape it’s fun!

it’s cheap straw bag It holds a lot, so I use mine as a purse.

This Johnny Was long cotton shirt It can be worn open as leggings or can be buttoned halfway over trousers this way. I just ordered these wide leg organic cotton gauze pants and I think it would be a great addition to my collection of “loose, less structured” pants. I finished the view with natural wood bracelet and some cute raffia earrings.

Do you have any wardrobe habits you want to change?

Thanks for reading and don’t forget to wear what makes you feel safe and happy.
