White cotton maxi dress + Schutz victory sandals

I was walking around Boston in this outfit the other day and a stylish teenager chased me around the neighborhood… “Madam, do you have a business card? I really admire your style.” At first I thought some kids were trolling me but I didn’t see their friends around and they turned out to be friendly. It was such a simple person-to-person interaction that 10 minutes later it made me smile and reminded me that kind words are free and pay for it!

A few highlights from our cozy weekend:

• I jumped to the springboard in Boston! Artesani Playground It is one of the largest public splash pools with a wading pool, but it gets very busy. • Nori’s ex-nanny has always connected us to Jamaican food, which is multi-layered flavors. Nick bought short ribs and put them under for oxtail in My Forking Life’s instantpot jamaican stew, a hit with our whole family! If you don’t have Jamaican “browning” sauce on hand, it usually uses dark soy sauce or coconut aminos.

In this model it is a midi dress, but it can work on shorter ladies as the sleeves are 3/4 length and the waist is higher. The skirt looks maxi size to me and still works with flat shoes and you can wear a regular bra with that! The material is a crisp cotton poplin with a back zip at the waist. If you are hesitant to wear white, this is reliable stain solution (scrub and soak before machine wash) gave me the freedom to not be afraid of food stains and dirty handprints!

i adore these too open sandals I love that they’re wearable thanks to the low, 2-inch block heel. The sheer bands are extra flattering for the legs and surprisingly comfortable for walking around town! It’s also stylish with just jeans or shorts. see this sandal more colors.

Since I always get questions (a struggle!) about kids’ shoes that are waterproof yet comfortable and lightweight, I have to say the original. Locals wear sneakers worth it. we had been in love Dick’s version it has a velcro opening, but unfortunately the velcro has worn off and will no longer close. The locals held on longer with the hand-delivered status – I hope Rio likes the pink shoes!
