Where to Find Blouses at Pretty Prints

Sure, we all know what it is wardrobe essentials for work professional women should have in their closets, but if you’re buying for the first time or changing one you’ve worn to the floor, finding just the right incarnation in stores can be a pain. Inside “Hunting,We search the stores for an essential product that every woman should have.

We’ve rounded up a ton of super-simple, straight blouses (both silky and vibrant) – wardrobe must-haves if you like the look.

Personally, I tend to be someone who wears either all black or multiple colors at once. Blouses with fun prints can be an easy way to achieve this look because you can choose a suitable color from within the print and then add a third piece in that color (eg blazer, trousers, sweater).

We didn’t have a rundown on where to find blouses in fun prints, though, so I thought we’d go on a hunt…especially since so many workwear stores really specialize in solid fabrics (and neutral solids!).

Where to Find Blouses at Pretty Prints

Halogen blouses have been a favorite with readers for years because they’re so affordable and come in lots of fun prints. This is sleeveless blouse currently has loads of cool colors including this fun blue abstract color; They are priced between $19-49 and come in sizes XXS-XXL. (Often also available in plus sizes, but currently out of stock.)

Other super affordable options include NYDJ (this blouse long-time reader favorite, available in regular and plus sizes) and Kut from Kloth (this blouse solid option).

(In general, though, I tend to think of prints as the dividing line between a budget blouse and a much more expensive one—lower-priced options often have odd fabric alignments where the pattern doesn’t quite match, or a wide range of patterns that can be cool or tragic.)

Ann Taylor Another great option for beautifully printed blouses — popover The image above is a reader’s favorite and usually comes in a ton of cool prints and colors, but there are knits, sleeveless scarves, and more in a ton of great prints. Blouse above It’s $64.50, but of course watch out for the Ann Taylor sales.

Don’t forget that sister site Loft is another great resource for affordable blouses in fun prints! Note also at this price point Scarceis a sustainable brand of Project Runway graduate Daniel Vosovic specializing in digital prints. (They don’t produce clothing until the customer orders it, so there’s almost no wastage.)

Amour Vert it’s been on our radar for a while as a smaller brand with great sustainability practices and beautiful washable silk blouses. This short sleeve popover is one of the washable silk options and is currently available in 9 different color sets in sizes XXS-XL.

It’s $148 full price, but there are some that are currently as low as $66.

Tucker has long been one of my favorites for gorgeous prints. This picture blouse one of their bestsellers – they state that the silk blouse has shirring, a fake neckline and two buttons at the back. There are currently 16 sets of colors (including basic white) available in sizes XXS-2X for $275. (The blouse is 92% silk, 8% spandex, unfortunately dry cleaned only.)

No blouse collection with fun prints would be complete without two special mentions, both around the same price point: equipment NYC (pictured above) and Diane von Furstenberg. Both have been on the market for years with a ton of gorgeous prints every year.

Frankly, there are several layers to this for silk blouses, and I’d love to hear which brands are really drooling for prints. acris It tends to be one of the brands I haunt and whose sales I keep checking out – it’s had some gorgeous blue prints, especially in recent years, it’s one of my favorite colors if you can’t tell from this writing.
