What’s On My Wish List This Season?

[ad_1]

I’ve shared a lot of gifting guides in the last weeks, so for our 50+ Style Arrangements this month, Cindy and I thought it would be fun to share our personal wishlist this holiday season. Mine is pretty random so wait for the ride 🙂

My last visit with my family

If wishes were horses… I would like to have one last nice long visit with my mother and father, who have been gone for years. Now that I’m older, there are so many things I’d love to chat with them. I would love to absorb their warmth and love one last time. I often feel them around me, but woven with the sadness of missing them.

New car

I drive a twenty year old car that I love! My kids have been following me for years to buy a newer car with updated safety features. Last week, while I was waiting for the seller to make me a new car key, I saw some beautiful new cars with big bows on them waiting for new homes… we’ll see.

My husband has long stopped shopping for me, so I usually send him the links or order it myself and he completes them. Yes, it takes some of the magic out of the process but she wants to make sure I’m going to love her… and so do I. And let’s be honest here, I shop almost full time.

Cashmere

Cashmere tops the list for me this year because the moths had a field day with my collection over the summer and most of them didn’t survive. Cashmere’s softness varies, and we know pills. Any company that tells you their cashmere won’t give pills is either crazy or lying because in the end they all take pills.

collector for sweater

I like my sweater shaverbut I’ve become obsessed My Collector. It is a battery-free cloth shaver, lint brush and lint remover. I’ve even used it on my pillows and on my sofa! This puppy is gentle, fast and efficient, so it now goes in my suitcase when I travel.

A reader just told me about this this trip Glener which I got right away. Thanks Teresa!

$50 MONGOLIAN CASHMERE V-NECK – KNIT PANTS similar here – CASHMERE Wrist Warmers – BIRDIES VELVET FLAT – CASHMERE & SILK SCARF

I discovered Quince cashmere last year and was surprised by the quality for the price. It pills a little faster than a $500 cashmere sweater, but a $50 cashmere sweater is hard to beat.

I’m wearing a $50 Ivory cashmere v-neck. It is not as opaque as other colors but has a nice soft tone. I wear it with J. Jill jersey pants that I bought last year (similar), super comfortable velvet bird circles, cashmere wrist warmersand a cashmere and silk leopard print scarf. I hope J. JIll makes this style of pants again because they are super comfortable and machine washable.

CASHMERE T-SHIRT – KNITTED SKIRT – LONG CASHMERE CARDIGAN SIMILAR HERE AND HERE – NECKLACE – SIMILAR BOATS – SCARF

After my success with V-necks, I bought a few Quince cashmere T-shirts and wore them madly. They come in twelve colors and are the perfect layering pieces this season. J. The team does a similar one It’s twice the price, but I can’t say I found much difference. I’m wearing it with a knit corduroy skirt from J. Jill that hasn’t been on their website yet or is out of stock. My long cashmere cardigan has been one of my favorite things since I bought it for our cruise last summer.

I can not lie; I’ve been waiting and waiting these Vince sweaters to go on sale and I ordered one yesterday. They’re incredibly soft, and it took a long time to turn the pill I had (which had become moth bait) years ago, and when that happened, the pills very small. I need cedar chest for my sweaters this summer.

hollywood makeup mirror

Friend Alison aforementioned this mirror After reading her post and comments earlier this week, I threw it straight into my cart for my husband to wrap it up and put it under the tree 🙂

As my eyes age, they need to be brighter for me to see clearly. This is like a ticket to make up. Also, the removable 10X magnification mirror can be placed anywhere on the front and will be perfect for chin hair search and removal tasks.

plastic storage container

Seriously! I have three beautiful Our place storage containersbut the rest of my Tupperware is a train wreck. These are the glass ones they look great but also look like they’ll take up a lot of closet space. this set it looks really cool because they are nested together for storage.

MacKenzie Childs

i want a piece MacKenzie Childs courtesy check I’ve loved the Spoiled pattern for my kitchen for years and surprisingly never bought one. I need a nicer paper towel rack but how stupid is that? The roll would hide the pattern. Below I have linked some of my favourites.

I told you it was random but I even surprised myself with this list.
