If you’re a fan of colorful Birkenstocks, you know it’s time to grab some of the best colors before they all run out. (Neutrals are always in stock.) I saw these and wanted them right away, whereas I’m more into it. Gizeh girl – bold color, big buckles, they all look great.

I should note that these are velvet, not leather or suede, which was a bit of a surprise when I realized – velvet + sandals look a little weird to me, but I guess suede is too. There’s also a ton of fur lined Birks sandals available right now!

Readers, what are your thoughts – would you wear velvet Birks? I’d do it for my own $0.02, but if it makes sense, it’s more for errand shoes than walking shoes everywhere on vacation.
