Summer is finally here, and if you live in a true all-season climate like me, it’s a thrill! In Canada we celebrate the start of summer on the long weekend Victoria Day (May 23), while in the USA we celebrate Memorial Day, which falls on May 30, a week later.
Either way, everyone’s favorite long weekend is a time to eat, drink, and relax with family and friends. Even more exciting is when we start bringing out our summer whites, sandals and all our fun, shiny prints! Today I am sharing a Memorial Day weekend outfit from me that is super cute and very easy to pull off. Talbots The perfect start for this summer. Take a look!
Whether you’re planning a family barbecue in the backyard, a walking tour of the city, or spending a day on the water, Memorial Day is a great way to dress sporty for the weekend.
Sporty means casual, comfortable with a bit of fun, and this outfit goes with everything.
I named this cute summer look Sporty Nautical with a sunny twist. The sporty style typically includes neutrals mixed with bursts of bright color, in this case white jeans with a yellow top half.

I always prefer skinny trousers to capris. They look more modern. They also have the right amount of stretch.

So how about a metal? i was wearing this soft gold belt with laser cuts lately too. It is light and airy and looks great with this airy outfit.
