The Most Worn Nordstrom Summer Finds

I wanted to revisit a few pieces I purchased earlier this year that have truly proven themselves to be staples or have brought me joy! The white jeans below fit me like a glove without any adjustments, and both shoes on my list are in heavy rotation and really go with everything.

one. Sam Edelman flat sandals

One of the best (and practical) purchases of the year. These have shown almost no signs of wear so far, despite very regular use! Nordstrom offers these in a rainbow of colors and neutral hues, and I love how stylish they are and how easy they are to put on and take off. 2. Topshop petite straight white jeans (Moreover regular length)

The white version of one of my all-time favorite jeans! These make me proud anywhere with no significant weight and waist gap with no visible issues. I disagree with 1 reviewer but I will say the Topshop sizing is small. In my Topshop denim I always get the waist 1 size bigger and their Petite denims are getting shorter. As mentioned earlier, I generally recommend Petite jeans for those 5’1″ or under. Sometimes I take standard-length jeans instead and then cut them to the length I want (see Resources). jeans cutting tips).

This is a bit confusing because it doesn’t say “Petite” anywhere on the site, but on Topshop jeans you can tell by the second number in the size. Anything ending in “x 28” means a shorter Petite length, and x 30 or 32 are standard lengths. The number is not actually equal to the inside seam measurement, it just indicates whether it is a Petite or Standard length. This 25 x 28 length pair of white jeans measures 23 inches with an increase of 9.75 inches at the inseam.

3. Reform top + skirt set

This is a flattering little suit made from a material that feels like a jersey knit. The top is cropped and can be paired with any high waisted bottom or summer skirt. The skirt has a half wrap that is tied at the side and can be worn with any cami and also works as a swim cover up! Since I am petite, I can wear 2 pieces together as a “dress”, by pulling the skirt up to my waist so that the skin is not visible in between. 4. ASTR lace top

I mentioned this in a recent post that it has Reform-esque vibes, and it’s a great little top to pair with jeans and shorts. You can see the white color on me below and it looks feminine on the same top small flower print!

5. Steve Madden strappy sandals

A solid, minimal basic shoe that I purchased earlier this year in both tan and black. I had to try on two sizes to find the best fit – I’m usually between 5 and 5.5 on most shoes and bought these in 5.5 for more room on the front strap.
