Spring Snack Is Now Easy (And Healthy!)

Being pregnant and caring for an almost two-year-old toddler who didn’t go to daycare, and while working at the same time, I can safely say that I somehow consider myself a snack connoisseur (sitting down for a “civilized” meal… less).

For example, when people ask me how I exercise – more or less non-stop – for 45 minutes a day with a toddler by my side, I say the answer is simple: snacks! I’m not talking about Oreo and Bamba.

I always tried to look for “healthy” snacks for the days when cucumber sticks and hummus were not enough for both myself and my loved ones. For me, that means snacks that are high in fiber and protein and low in added sugar and sodium (I care less about naturally occurring sugar, but I try to keep it away, too).
