Short Wide Leg Pants Are a Challenge!

I will just say. Wearing short, wide-leg pants isn’t the easiest thing in the world. Wider legs, shorter hemlines may make you think you’ll never be able to pull them off without looking short and crouching. But in reality, it may be because you haven’t found the right ones. These gorgeous Spanx, wide legs that look like jeans but fit like leggings, convinced me otherwise.

These Shape Your Figure

Spanx is famous for its shapewear and leggings, and these new pants are an extension of that. They have the same great stretch fit technology that shapes your figure, holds all the loose parts and is super comfortable.

You pull them up, there are no zippers or buttons, so you get a flat front that isn’t bulky, but looks like you’re wearing pants. It fits snugly on the tummy and hips and then slowly expands (not too overdone like some) to an elegant mid-skirt width. With these trousers, you don’t get the big, square, angular shape that many other wide-leg trousers give you.

Its Length and Pant Width Are Exquisite

Another thing I love about these trousers is that it’s much nicer to have these ends a few inches above your ankles, rather than ending in the middle of your calf like many cropped trousers (they look like wide-leg capris).

Wear Them With Wedges

I like to wear them with low wedge sandals so I look tall and slim. A light or tan shoe (I’m wearing light brown) also helps with this, visually lengthening your feet. I also noticed that a little height in these pants makes my ankles look nice and slender.

What color!

Of course, it has stunning color! Like a dusty rose but that’s what they call it mauve, And I think that’s one of the main reasons I go for them. Although I have my eye on the almond colored ones, they are unique. they also enter White and khaki greenso there are many options.

Monochromatic Sleek and Slimming

I paired them with this pretty pink waffle knit sweater for an elegant and understated monochromatic look, but they also look chic with a floral feminine summer top or sporty with a cute tee, sneakers, and a crossbody bag.

When I get Spanx, I always order a medium, and so are these. The website says they run on the small side, so if you’re between sizes, I’ll get a size up.
