Smart Casual Summer Looks – Reform Petite Outfit Ideas

[ad_1]

It’s been a while since I posted the weekly outfit ideas section! I wanted to share some of my favorite looks lately in my favorite soft neutral color palette. These are easy, smart casual pairings that use pieces you might have in your closet, and I’ve left a few notes on tweaks for business casual dress code. You can find more easy outfit ideas in these previous posts!

1. Monochrome cream top + bottom + long camel layer

I love using camel to add warmth to an all-white look! This is ecru color Everlane jeans It’s a favorite add-on from earlier this year, and it was worth the wrap to the perfect length. I kept the outer layer long to continue the lean lines of the monochrome outfit below. This Reformation ribbed top Another excellent foundation that I have already featured a few times and now want more color. The modern square neckline is a thick, sturdy knit and can elevate a simple jeans or shorts outfit.

for business casual, just swap a pair of ankle pants for jeans. I wanted to talk about ours too. Arranged Parts reversible belt is is finally back in stock! The buckles from this collection are interchangeable and I am wearing our new cream/taupe belt with the original black/cognac buckle.

2. Sneakers + short jeans + blazer

It’s one of my favorite combinations for looking casual yet polished. This flowy top is the best layering tank I’ve owned in several colors, and these jeans continue to garner RAVE reviews (definitely top reader favorite of 2022). They finally introduced two new washes in the same denim cut without rips – flat blackbig sale and a solid dark blue. I love that they’re slim but not skinny, and the Petite length crops up perfectly at my 5′ tall for wearing with sneakers and flats.

Again, for a casual business office, I’d just replace jeans and sneakers with slim-leg pants + flats or pumps!

Chic tank top + pleated skirt + striped t-shirt or sweater

I wear my EP pleated skirt every week from office chic (look here), casual and feminine (look here), or a little preppy like that! I will share more about this Sezane saggy stripe tee but this is a classic and I wanted a different color from the navy and black stripes.

for business casualInstead of a sleeveless tank top, I would make a short or elbow-length blouse and replace it with closed-toe shoes.

Midi skirt + button-up button-down shirt + strappy sandals

Camel and black is another easy combination that never fails! trade in this Reform Clarke sleeveless top (great value for a simply stylish and versatile tank) to easily take this look from the office to drinks or brunch with friends.

Long linen pants + structured top or t-shirt

I bought this top last year and it’s one of the least valued pieces in my closet I’ve had ALL the time. Elastic band bottom makes me tuck a shirt neatly and use the toilet etc. It saves you the trouble of putting it back in after use. I love the lightly padded shoulder to create some shape and structure. These A&F white pants sold out fast this spring, but I’ve had my eye on them and I’m sharing similar LTK options that are popping up! This option (in small and regular sizes) they are not white or full length, but I LOVE everything about them for a similarly nice flowy, wider leg look!
