Captured with a summer essential dress and blazer!
I’ve been obsessed with Sezane lately. Just a little glimpse of their summer Edition collection and it’s not hard to see why. Today, I’m sharing a few of her standout pieces – a sculptural dress and a velvety-soft blazer.
let’s start with this charlie dress. Stunning! The shape is sculptural and flattering, the texture is subtle and thoughtful, while the color is vibrant. It comes with adjustable straps, so it’s no problem for the collar and gathered chest strap (basically the top of the dress) to fit and adjust correctly. I’m 5 ft 110 pounds and wear a size 2 – the dress is 2 to 3 inches above my knees. No need for tailoring or alterations with this piece. It also comes nicely ivory And Navy colour.
Now Sezane Agnes jacket. Very soft! Insanely baggy and comfortable, it feels like you’re wearing sophisticated pajamas during the day. I waited patiently matching pants to come back and just grab a couple. I wear 2 sizes and it’s perfect. Shoulders and waist fit comfortably. The only minor change I would make is the sleeves. They’re a little long. For now, I use the hairpin trick (basically use the hairpins to curl the sleeves so they stay in place). Apart from that, there is no need for tailoring or alterations in this piece. It also comes in fabulous green shadow.
