Reshaping a Mannequin – Not Pajamas

[ad_1]

Happy Thursday ladies. These restyling posts only happen when a model really grabs my attention. To be honest, many model outfits are deflated, but some need help and the things I’m trying to remodel. My statement says it all with this one.

Today’s outfit caught my eye because I thought I was staring at a sweet pajama set until I got close enough to notice the necklace. Some of my thinking may have been due to pressure, and I’m aware of this personal bias, but I think this will be a tough match.

WEAREVER CAP SLEEVE T / CLOTHING FULL LEG SHORTS / LAPIS HANGING NECKLACE

Here I am wearing what the model is modeling.

THE ULTIMATE AT MISSES M / SHORTS AT MISSES M

Both the shorts and the top are at least one size too big for me so I think they sell well, but I’m not sure if ladies wear them together. The shorts are pretty cute with a nice full leg giving it a cropped look. The upper part has cap sleeves, but it is not a separate sleeve, it is just an extension of the body, so there is a dolman type shaping under the arm.

It seems like everyone is stocking up on white jeans because my store is out of stock. I was trying to see what the loose ball would look like. these slim jeans but it failed because these are a few sizes too big for me. I think this would look cute together in appropriate sizes. You can also zip up the t-shirt or zip it in half.

WEAREVER LARGE-LEGGED PLANTS IN MISSES S

Then I tried putting the top in these wide-legged products. I like this pairing because the dark bottom anchors it and helps balance the pattern on the top.

MISSES S LINEN AND COTTON EMBROIDERED ANORAQ JACKET

Then I put it on this linen and cotton embroidered anorak jacket that my friend Joan was talking about in her basket. I like that the jacket adds some structure to the outfit, but still feels comfortable and hides the excess fabric in the sleeve area of the t-shirt.

FULL LEG SHORTS AT MISSES M / UNWANTED TANK S / MISSES CARDIGAN IN MISSES S

I’m back full leg shorts because they are a great fit for the summer and they are very comfortable. I paired them with one Wearever a-line sleeveless tank top and top in the navy this organic cotton wearable cardigan which connects the two parts.

Footnote on compliance-

  • the shorts come in ladies, petite, and women’s sizes XS-4X. I’m wearing the middle backs and will need the XS so they stay true to size. Inseam sizes are 6″ in the misses, 5 1/2″ in the petite and 7″ in the women’s. They are available in 3 solids and 3 presses.

What are your thoughts?

Do you like the print-on-print combination?

Thanks for reading and don’t forget to wear what makes you feel safe.
