Good Friday ladies. This spring, I see that there is so much pink mixed with orange that the outfit started to grow on me. This hot/cold combination now feels almost expected, so I felt a misfire when I saw this dummy.
The eyelet top is peach and the tuxedo stripe underneath the jeans is pink. This combination strikes me as jarring because it overpowers the pink peach.
Since you asked, I’m wearing a model here.
The eyelet top comes in 4 colors, this one is Caspian pink which looks peachy especially next to the hot pink stripe on the jeans.
First I switched to a simple pink and white striped tee in the same bright pink. I love that the white card captures the white in the stripe on the jeans and t-shirt. The pink striped t-shirt hasn’t been on the site yet, but it was in my store.
Next, I tried on a whimsical tee with touches of hot pink, a classic white blouse, and a long, hot pink cardigan and jeans. The cardigan is a deeper pink than the stripe on the jeans. Both feel fresher than peach with jeans.
Wearing a peach blouse with these jeans wouldn’t be too happy for my ambitious eye, but I could wear any of the other options I tried. What do you think?
