Ashley Graham is no stranger to lingerie or capsule collections. So when we saw footage from her newest venture with Knix in Vogue, our interest was immediately piqued. Ashley Graham x Knix Collab? Knix, the panty brand we know and love, brought a new breath to the brand. Ashley Graham at the helm as new Global Ambassadors!
Ashley Graham’s collaboration while giving birth to her 4-month-old twins excitedly pushes Knix into a new product category. This collaboration brings us the same technology that Knix is known for. “Pure sexy with Wireless Bras, Jumpsuits and Underwear made from beautifully soft and supportive Powermesh fabric.”
Yes. Knix, the company that serves us tight period adds panties “Luxuriously soft, lightweight and naturally breathable micro modal fabric.” We have modern and stylish bralettes, body and underwear options that do not compromise on functionality.
“People want to invest in something that feels good to wear” Ashley Graham shares it with Vogue. “After the last few years we’ve all spent so much time lying down, we’ve gotten used to relaxing, but now that we’re back and re-entering the world, that’s not the only concern.”
So what can we expect from the Ashley Graham x Knix Collection?
Isn’t this collection just the pushup bras we’re used to, sweet and sexy lace? We get a collection of pastel and neutral tones in luxurious micro-patterns and mesh fabrics.
During the design process, Ashley Graham continues to share: “I’ve designed capsules before and I’ve had such a history with underwear throughout my 20-year career… Because of these experiences, I didn’t necessarily focus on the number of bras and bodies. What caught my attention were the colors and silhouettes. I wanted it to be universal, I wanted all the pieces to be beautiful so no one would mind if the straps were visible. We started by creating an amazing inspiration board, and the team at Knix succeeded.”
With this collaboration, we are creating a line of lingerie through a fashionable and functional 4X, drawing on Ashley Graham’s knowledge and experience in the lingerie field.
Not only are we getting a few new options that bring Knix into a surprising new field, but what gets us excited is the images. Knix and Ashley Graham were deliberately pulled from their client base, which included women who had never seen a camera before.
From the shared descriptions, we look forward to the diversity of women chosen to represent this collection! Being able to see and learn from each person’s story in the launch of this campaign is both inspiring and exciting to learn from.
We’re already fans of what Knix has done and we love to see how Ashley Graham’s career continues to evolve in new ways. So, this Ashley Graham x KNIX collaboration is both curious and intriguing – yes?
