Marina Rinaldi x Sara Battaglia On Inspiration for the Capsule Collection
in an interview with WWDSara Battaglia shares her inspiration for the “Absolutely Flawless” collection:
“I also wanted the collection to express joy” said. “You can see life in pink with these sunglasses with thick white frames and contrasting pink lenses.”
Continuing to share in the interview, “I have always played with proportions and love to contrast them using unexpected materials… The purpose of my work is to continue celebrating the femininity and beauty of women. I highlight what were considered flaws in the past as strengths and qualities that now no longer need to be hidden, but highlighted. I find anything perfect boring.”
