It’s been a little quiet here lately, Edited Parts ready to throw, the little ones are constantly sick and trying to help me dear grandparents afar. I miss blogging and hope to get back to the pace of things soon!
Today’s look is simple, but these pants made me feel classy and bright thanks to the soft color combination and gorgeous fit. Some of my most pinned looks over the years have long trousers, but finding good shelf-fit trousers was nearly impossible (I’ve swapped out almost every pair of pants in my closet)! I’m so excited to find this pair and I hope they come out in more fabrics and colors in the coming seasons!

Side Zipper Trousers (regular, petite, curly or regular cut)
These are very flattering thanks to the long seam stretching in the middle, the leg non-slip cut and a perfect high rise that really fits. AT pants are usually a little big for my waist so I was more than happy to zip these up without the waist gap. I bought their petite regular fit, but if you have a large waist to hip ratio, try their curvy pattern. The material has a brushed texture and feels luxurious for fall and winter (it’s on the thin side and doesn’t scream suede), and it definitely works for spring too. The fabric is medium weight and somewhat stretchy so it is comfortable with a nice drape. Pants like this usually look too long to me, but the 28-inch inseam here works well with even low or medium heels. Can’t recommend these enough!

Faux Leather Ankle Pants
Ann Taylor had a pair of trousers like this a while back that I love so much I wanted to share her updated version! These are a very stylish alternative to denim and surprisingly easy to wear and match. The material is moderately thick and warm, and I’ve worn mine with the wide hem full-length or folded (which I do with flats or sneakers). The waistline of these seems a little loose to me compared to the straight-leg pants above.

Thick Knitwear Sweater
I hope a few of you were able to pick up this color when I first got it. shared here! I bought this sweater in a different color years ago and it must be popular as H&M keeps bringing it back.
This sweater is very good value for the price, weight, and extra thick chunky knit. The length is shorter for a regular size, which I like to wear either halfway or tucked into my bra band. see my old sweater here on me paired with jeans and boots for a casual fall outfit and Here For a fuller winter look. The yarn blend isn’t particularly soft when taken out of the packaging, but from experience it breaks a bit with wear.
