While I love a camel blazer year-round, it feels particularly appropriate for fall fashion and is one of my closet staples for going out with jeans, workwear, or even some faux leather. This blazer is one of Express’ classics that almost always sells in petite, so I was surprised to see both colors currently on sale, both in petite XS – XXL!
Open Front Boyfriend Blazer
I’ve been chasing this blazer with “butterscotch” for a few months now and have never seen the xxsp in stock so I bought the xs petite and have a comfortable place to layer a long sleeve top underneath. I think this is TTS so I recommend sticking with your regular size. This color is the perfect medium camel color and is versatile enough to pair with a variety of denim white, black or blue for my casual chic casual wear.
The material is a stretchy, comfortable yet polished smooth woven fabric to wear at home and throw over a T-shirt or tank for zoom calls. The cut is nicely tailored to grip the waist with not too loose sleeves. As you can see below, even XS petite suits me very well in terms of overall length and sleeve length.
Faux Leather Ankle Pants
Black, butterscotch and dark purple
These are the same cut ankle pants Having loved it for the last 2 years (and the cream color above), it’s now available in soft and lightweight faux leather. If you haven’t gotten on the leather tights train yet, these looser-fitting ankle pants might be a less intimidating and more forgiving way to try the trend! Wear a simple black tank and a blazer for an elevated dinner or drink look. Always asked on Express what the difference is between Petite and Short so ordered both to try again in the same product and the fit and lengths were the same! That’s why I buy Short and Petite products interchangeably, mostly based on what’s in stock.
These pants come in three deep shades for fall outfits – while black is generally the safest option, the butterscotch shade I tried below is actually quite beautiful and rich in person. Here’s how it looks with contours sweater tank i have shared before this postI also wanted to show you how these pants combine with sneakers versus heels.
Thank you Express for partnering with this post.
