Perfect Spring Tote Bag

Happy Monday ladies. Here are a few things that have been on my radar this week. Spring has hit us all weekend and my old tote bag is feeling too ‘heavy’ for hot weather. I bought this bag Going to Mexico and going to the pool etc. It’ll be great to go, but that’s not what I want to carry around town every day. I imagine my perfect spring tote bag to be wicker, rattan, or raffia.

When it flies out of my front seat in the car and smashes its contents all over the place… …if not… …I prefer a zipper closure.

I want it big enough to hold my bag, my water bottle and the little things I bought from the store for the day. The handles should be long enough to be gripped without touching the ground, but long enough to pass over my shoulders when I want to free my hands.

Seems like a long order so I’ve started the hunt and I’ll let you know what I’ve decided.

outfit of the week

This week’s outfit is a working outfit for warm or cool spring days with a quick change of shoes. I was looking for a utility jacket that wasn’t too hot, had an adjustable drawstring to keep it from looking too boxy, and was long enough to cover my back.

I love this straw bag and it’s seriously marked. I already have an old straw bag of this size so I don’t need another bag, also it’s not big enough for this bag. I’ll let you know what I bought.

Do you carry cloth bags? I find them incredibly useful and wonder how I survived without one.
