Outfit of the Week: Boden

For busy working women, a suit is often the easiest outfit to wear in the morning. In general, this is not about the feature interview suits for womenIt should be as classic and simple as you can get – instead, this feature is about suits that are a little different, trendy yet professional.

Ah: this pant suit wonderful.

I love the addition of the matching vest, and the tee+vest combo gives it a really 80s feel (and I think it’s the 90s – I think I remember both Pretty Woman and Clueless outfits).

The fabric is 96% viscose, 4% elastane and is dry cleaned only. They state that the trousers are “longer (for the heels)” – in all such trousers I would first choose the shoes I wanted to wear with the outfit, then have my trousers sewn to that height.

(For my $0.02: I’d say it’s a little over-stitched for the model pictured; you need to separate the hem from the fold of the shoe, but the fabric of the pants should be 0.5 inches. Back is -1″ above ground floor.)

The blazer and pants are $260 and $180 and are available in regular sizes 2-22. The vest ($120) is only available in sizes 14; The pants also come in petite and tall sizes. The color is confusingly referred to as “fox”. (Any insight, gang?)
