winter to spring transition workwear ideas

Happy Monday! This edition of workwear ideas features a new-to-me affordable brand (Tuesday) that turned out to be very petite-friendly, a quality Sezane find (Monday), and a $25 Amazon sweater (Thursday) that is still a favorite years later. !

I know many of you have given up on heels, so I wanted to point out that both sweatpants below work well with heels. my favorite loafers (I have both Black and Soft Beige colors) and you can choose block heel ankle boots for trousers and trousers combinations.

Monday
Sezane Lucas sweater workwear

When in doubt, striped camel is the perfect combination for me! This is the sweater I was talking about in my post Sezane reviews but there was no photograph of that time. The composition is wool and organic cotton, but it doesn’t have the itch factor that most alpaca or mohair blend knits have. The knit feels high quality and is slightly thicker in weight than the other knit. Leontine sweater most of us love It hits my hips when unfolded and isn’t too tall in the minions.

i love acorn petite asian fit dress review

Both this top and pants Best regards, Bonito, a Singapore brand that I’ve been following for a while! I finally placed an order and am very happy with the keepers and will write a more detailed review once I see how my return experience has gone (some items were too small – my fault for not checking the measurements). Among my protectors, this tweed bustier was even cuter than expected, and the pants feel very long and light. Both pieces sound like great value for the prices, even with shipping.

I love that this brand lists detailed measurements in both cm and inches for EVERY product and the measurements are pretty accurate for the items I ordered. Beware, if you still need to return anything, this is for store credit only, but I thought the pieces were unique enough to try this brand.

Wednesday
quince cardigan theory outlet pants workwear

Cardigan + ankle pants = reliable and practical, especially if you replace the above flat loafers. I love the addition of a printed item (in this case, my bag) to break up solid blocks of color. If you missed my mini review of these classic and comfortable stretch pants at Theory outlet, Click here to read.

Thursday
white crepe pants petite workwear

One of my top Amazon buys from about 3 years ago still going strong – see my original review here with appropriate better photos. I recently ordered it for a friend and I can confirm it’s still the same. It is “one size” with pretty long sleeves, but I have them cuffed and I am a fan of plus size stuffed. I’ve worn this a ton of different ways (eg. for business, to lie down) and I love dressing up with a pair of pants!

Friday
spring job casual Ann Taylor petite jacket

This blazer is one of my favorite pieces from Ann Taylor this year and it’s also available in black. The clean, collarless cut combined with high-quality ‘flowing crepe’ fabric makes this feel akin to My Theory pieces. there are several coordination breaks down (skirt, pants, dress) – I’ll show you the matching Crepe Pants Trousers soon, but I found it was big and needed changes at the waist.

Which outfit is your favorite here?
