November 1st marks the first day of NEDA’s ‘Body Acceptance Week’ campaign and we wanted to let you know all the details!

NEDA Launches Size Acceptance Week

if you are not familiar NEDA (National Eating Disorders Association), are the largest nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders, and they offer ample resources for anyone who may need it.

The organization hopes to raise more awareness as it launches ‘Body Acceptance Week’ from November 1-5, 2021. Body Acceptance Week celebrates body positivity, body neutrality and body freedom for all!

Statistics 28.8 million Americans (all demographics and body measurements) will experience an eating disorder throughout their lives. While there is no single cause of eating disorders, research shows that body dissatisfaction is a leading risk factor.

As part of NEDA’s commitment to eating disorder prevention, Body Acceptance Week provides resources, education, and support for those experiencing body dissatisfaction and associated risk factors.

Named ‘One of the Original Oversized Influencers’ by Chenese Lewis forbes, takes part in a new video for the campaign in which she reflects her own journey with body acceptance and gives advice to those who experience body dissatisfaction.
