I’ll be making a larger post of my picks from each category, but let me tell you – there’s a ton of great stuff on sale this year. Lots of bags and shoes excite me and there are *lots* of blazers and suits. Underwear isn’t exciting, but all the old favorites are out there – and it’s the number one thing people stock on NAS over time, so definitely check it out your body.

My Top 21 Picks from the 2023 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Shoe
one – High heels from Reiss – Reiss’ NAS sale has a ton of cute heels, all very high heels, including boots, booties, and these cute heels. They come in black and beige and have fun knit cutouts that show off a bit of toe cleavage. They’ll be $179 on sale and $285 after sale.
2 – Paul Green loafers – Paul Green is a reader favorite for convenience, but they can be really expensive! These loafer shoes come in black and brown and will be on sale for $299 (later $429). The brand has a number cute booties, sneakers and a very simple pump also on sale.
7 – Marc Fisher heels – of the brand zala heel has been a reader favorite for years; I like the little differences in the Varla heel on the NAS. This bright deep blue (royal blue? cobalt?) is a warm color this year along with burgundy, and it comes with the heel, a dusty pink, and 3 neutrals. The heels will be on sale for $89, then $150.
8 – AGL heels – Again, this brand is a reader favorite for convenience. This block heel pointed toe pump comes in black and beige and I love the mix of patent leather and matte leather. These heels will be on sale for $290 and then $415.
Blazers on 2023 NAS
There are so many great blazers!!
3 – Cinq a Sept Khloe Blazer – this tweed navy is a great foundation of the brand. Wear it with black, navy – pretty much any color under the sun. It will be on sale for $329 and then $495. (size 00-16).
4 – Treasure and Bond blazer – this brand seriously underestimated for affordable foundations. The cut of this beige jacket looks great and is available in plus sizes as well. It will be on sale for $65 and then $99.
5 – L’Agence knit blazer (green) – L’Agence’s sweater jacket and blazer game is strong guys this year. This green knit blazer looks charming. It will be on sale for $290 and then $425. The brand is also herringbone print open front blazer and a deep lavender Chamberlain blazer on sale as well beige biker jacket.
6 – Avec Les Filles jacket (beige) – I think of Avec Les Filles more for outdoor jackets than blazers, but this beige embroidered jacket looks great. It will be on sale for $135 and then $200.
Underwear and Other
9 – Natori As always, there are tons of great bras on sale this year – a great opportunity to get discounted prices on bras in your own size, in a variety of colors, and most matching panty bras.
10 – diptych candles – these are always one of the first things to get into the NAS! If you love candles, definitely add them to your wish list. This 4-piece set is worth $168, but will be on sale for $118.
11th – Siren ring by Monica Vinader – I love almost all of Vinader’s items but this simple ring looks perfect. (A fun note to take with some skepticism: I’ve always read that rose quartz is meant to attract love to you.) The ring will be on sale for $149 and then $25.
12 – Creuset dutch oven – Okay, this isn’t a work suit, but I don’t remember seeing the Le Creuset on NAS before, and it’s definitely not in the color range — and the 4.5 liter size is great. It will be on sale for $239 and then $375; Available in 8 colors (!!).
19 – Vinader diamond earrings – I’m pretty sure I got these a few months ago at full price… everyday earrings that are perfect in size and bling, I think, at least if you’re the kind of person who wears diamond dangling earrings every day. Earrings will be $259-279 and $395-425 after sale; they come in white gold, rose gold and yellow gold versions.
Trousers
13 – Vince pants – Brown is a huge color at NAS this year and these cotton-blend cigarette pants seem like the perfect color because they’re distinctly brown, so you can wear them in black without worrying about people thinking you’re dressed in the dark. These pants will be on sale for $229 and then $345. (there are tons of brown pants yet in every cut, size and shade!)
14 – All Saints pants – I always love a good rib detail, and these high-waisted, wide-leg pants from All Saints are like the unicorn in the pants: casual yet polished and on-trend. They’ll be $180 on NAS, but will go up to $269 again after sale.
15 – Avec Les Filles pants – These come with a matching blazer and I like the set as a whole but I think these pinstripe pants with charcoal/red pinstripes are cool in particular. It was $99 at the time of sale, but they’ll go back to $150 after the sale. (Not in the picture but Matching trousers with a Reiss blazer they’re also great on their own and are sure to go fast.)
Women’s Suits in 2023 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
16 – Reis navy blue suit – I haven’t seen such a great neutral team on NAS from a big brand like Reiss in a while. This jacket $329 (returns to $545 after sale) and trousers $198, but will set you back $330.
17 – Halogen contrast dress – I can’t decide if I like the black/white version of this suit or the gray version more herringbone/black contrast version better! Halogen seems to be out of the park with this one – jacket it will be $106 on sale and set back to $159 after the sale. Herringbone is available in regular and plus, while the black version comes in size XXL. (Interestingly, the herringbone version definitely has matching pants, skirts, and dresses, but the black version is primarily shown separately—but the brand has tons of matching outfits”Rich Black” color.
18 – boss outfit – I love this deep “palace green” color from Boss and they offer matching pieces in both a “sustainable mix” suit fabric and leather, including pants, skirt, double-breasted blazer, leather motor jacket and crowbar. crop jacket. (Also, a great square-neck jersey top for $89.) Suit pieces will cost $199-419, including leather, and $298-695 after sale.
Great Business Bags on 2023 NAS
20 – Red bag – AllSaints has a few bags on sale and this Allington bag is one of my favourites – I think the “winter orchid red” is a great color but the bag is also available in more neutral beige and black colours. The bag measures 13.5 x 11 x 6.5 inches and has a removable zippered pouch – perfect for a lunch run. The bag will be $199 on NAS, but will set back $299 after sale. (If you’re looking for a purplish purse, cole haan Also available in reddish purple and turquoise (not pictured).
21 – Blue tote with rainbow stripe straps – Madewell always has a Carrying case on NAS and I LOVE this blue bag with multicolored straps. (Overall, the bag is one of the readers’ favorites for the casual office!) The bag will be $125 on NAS and set back to $188 after sale. (Also available in beige/pink version.)
