I first discovered NEIWAI Barely Zero Bra One year ago and they were a runaway reader favorite! These have been a game changer in my underwear drawer – ultra comfortable to wear all day or even get into bed forgetting I have a bra.
They also saved me from my journey of labor and breastfeeding as they flex with weight fluctuations and are so easy to breastfeed (by simply removing the bra band). Based on customer feedback, NEIWAI has released two updated versions of our beloved Barely Zero bra: Wavy Fixed Cup Bra and Buckled Fixed Cup Bra. Here’s what’s different:
- Fixed cups: lightly padded cups are now fixed inside so they don’t slide off or come out during washing
- Anti-wrinkle: The cups are made of an updated material that is more wrinkle resistant.
- Two sizes: Instead of one size fits most people. I’m a group of 32, sometimes 34, and the new XS-S fits perfectly. NEIWAI is an Asian based brand and I find such brands to make the size a bit smaller.
- Lightweight silicone tape: The underband has a very thin strip of silicone liner to help maintain its structure and minimize curling of the edges. Since the silicone strip is not exposed, you will not feel it on your skin.
- Buckle back opening(!): Both of the new bras have the above updates, but the new Clasp bra also has a back buckle opening which is a little more convenient!
Wavy Barely Zero Fixed Cup Bra
This new style has all of the above updates, with a flawless buckle-free back and a subtle wavy-patterned hemline. XS/S fits bra band size 32-34.
Original Barely Zero Bra
can be used with thin strap or classic strap. I wear the thin belt most often! It’s a little more affordable than new ones and comes in multipacks (since it’s “one size”), which is nice to share with a family member or friend. They have since added a Curvy body and Fuller bust option to the original style.
Here are a few of the nude colors in two newly updated bra styles. Any of beige and tan tones work well for me, but Warm Bread is the closest to my skin tone!
