All Time Favorite

Okay, let’s start with the makeup remover I can’t get enough of – Colleen’s Luminous Cleansing Balm. It looks like thick butter; It goes on like butter and the fragrance is divine and totally addictive.

You know how when you pour hot butter on popcorn, it instantly melts? Well, that’s what this cleansing balm feels like. Apply a thick, buttery balm to your face, add some warm water and rub in circular motions. (You can even use this balm to remove eye makeup). When you massage, your makeup will start to become softer and warmer until it melts.

Then take the muslin cloth and wring it out under hot water, wrap it around your face and gently wipe off the balm. It feels great and my face is velvety smooth afterwards. I’m in love with this luxurious, relaxing bedtime ritual!

New to Me and Loving It!

Next, I want to talk about a Colleen Rothschild product that is new to me and that I love. i’m talking about Glycolic Acid Peel Pads with Blue Agave. I think the key to glowing skin in our age is to keep the old, dead, drab skin off our face and let the shine trapped underneath shine through. I was intrigued by these exfoliating pads because they contain glycolic and lactic acid types. Plus, they looked fun to use.

And they! After cleansing my face, apply a textured, acid-soaked pad to my cheeks, forehead, nose, chin and Voilà! There’s always a little something left from my washing on the pad, and it’s so satisfying! I use it Glycolic Acid Peel Pads about 3 xa weeks to brighten my skin. There’s nothing like the feeling of having unclogged, super clean pores. Glycolic pads also help with the hyperpigmentation that occurs if I get a little lazy with sunscreen. (Did I mention that Colleen is fantastic broad-spectrum? suntan cream?)

Night Beauty Cocktail!

Colleen Rothschild, like her, has several excellent products you can use at night to repair your skin while you sleep. Retinol Supreme Night Oil and her Mandelic Acid Shine Serum for cellular transformation (another one of my new favorites- it smells amazing).

If you want to test the waters, it’s a good place to start. Face Oil No.9. Yes, it’s oil, but don’t worry; gives you a shine without shine.

Here’s the trick to using it. Mix in the palm of your hand with a rich and creamy drop. Extreme Healing Cream. It’s like you’re making a cocktail, or in this case, a salad dressing with oil and cream (lol!). Then massage your face and you’re ready for your skin to drink it while you sleep. When I wake up my skin looks and feels ten years younger. Spell!
