Monday Thoughts – Summer Fabrics and Wardrobe Planning

[ad_1]

Happy Monday ladies. It was a rainy, windy and pretty bad weekend for us. We went out for a very casual dinner to celebrate our 45th anniversary on Saturday, then bent over to stay dry.

You may have noticed that I look a little paler than usual in this photo. Unfortunately last week I developed an eye infection that required a series of antibiotic drops. My doctor also advised me to change all my eye makeup, which broke my heart because I just got new mascara and eyeshadow! Changing everything will not be a cheap process, so I take my time. And because I have to do that, I think it would be fun to try new brands and products. I’ll let you know… at least my lipstick is safe.

I’m excited for the trip we’re going to visit my brother in Mexico. There’s a very relaxed and relaxed atmosphere where he lives, so I’m in the mood to buy loose, comfortable and possibly colorful clothes. Colourful? I? I’m not going to ignore it because while I adore neutrals and all the coastal granny vibes, I’ve learned to never say never about fashion. I find it easier to adopt brighter colors in strong sunny locations.

I NEVER BRING ENOUGH HAT WHEN I TRAVEL. HERE’S HOW I GET THEM THERE.

The word boho keeps coming as I think about what I want to take with me for this trip. I’m trying to wrap my head around how I can incorporate this into my outfits because so far I’ve only dealt with looks. I bought wide-leg cotton gauze pants from a boutique over the weekend and I love the weather, so this is a start. In hot weather I like linen, but cotton gauze is a very close second.

I’m still waiting my gauze popover shirts arrive and very angry How long does it take. Am I the only one who can’t wait for deliveries? Maybe that’s why I love Amazon so much… fast delivery. This is a soft gauze shirt in the resort pink also comes to me for the trip, as well this is cotton gauze skirt so I thought the outfit of the week was appropriate.

Dress of the Week

COTTON TULLE SHIRT / TULL-ON PULL-ON MAXI SKIRT / GODDESS SWIMSUIT / COOLIBAR UPF 50+ SUN PROTECTION HAT / CAT EYE SUNGLASSES / WATERPROOF BIRKENSTOCK SANDALS / RAFYA EARRINGS / SUN PROTECTIVE COLORED LIP BALANCE

I’ve always been a fan of pink and black and I especially love the way the pink is heavily saturated, like this cotton gauze shirt. I love how it matches with this is a pull tulle skirt. It would be a great cover up for them. this black goddess outfit I shared with you when I wore it Miami is here. My Lavender Birks just arrived, but now I think I need it this pink couple. They are waterproof and great for walking along the shore. i added this MDSolarSciences sunscreen tinted lip balm which I love and now have in several shades.

I can’t remember the last time I was this worried about spring!

Thanks for reading, and make sure you wear things that give you pleasure and confidence.
