Happy Monday ladies. Today’s post is a little bit of that a little bit of that. I think I ate my bodyweight guacamole this week but all is well and I’ll be worried about that when I get home. I do some local shopping and find that my tastes change depending on where I am. Bright colors and more ethnic patterns appeal to me here. Good thing there are only a few small shops so I can’t get into much trouble.

It’s not what you think. Apparently, the new trend hairstyle for spring is a “slob”. It is defined as a slippery drop that is sharp in shape but not very precisely cut. It’s a simple cut, all in one length, and not as choppy as the busts of recent years. Most of the images show hair parted in the middle, so I did an experiment yesterday and it took me back to the 70s… and not in a flattering way. When was the last time you parted your hair in the middle?

Dress of the Week

I’ll be back in the rain and cold soon, so I thought I’d share an outfit of the week… Designed by Moi. Here’s another raincoat outfit for a casual day of errands.

This Cole Haan Raincoat is currently 75% off at Nordstrom Rack. Lightweight and collectible, it has a drawstring at the back waist that wraps it up and gives it some shape. I noticed that it was narrow, so I’m glad I chose the tool.

I combined the jacket Breton striped balland high-waisted, flared jeans, and some comfortable Sketches marked again. They are flexible knit sneakers that you can slip on or tie to wrap around your feet. Many of you have recommended Sketchers so I wanted to try them out and I can say they are very comfortable!

Save or splurge

It’s been a long time since I’ve made a save or splurge post, so I thought it would be fun to do it with one of the popular dresses. I shared it here last week.

Woven bags are a big trend for spring, and on warmer days it’s hard to beat a classic striped dress. I added simple gold hoops, a neutral-coloured woven sandal, a wired bracelet, and turtle-rimmed sunglasses that are always a classic.
