Monday Thought- Hair Color, Deja Blue and Recipe of the Week

[ad_1]

Happy Monday ladies. This week I feel the urge to change things up in my wardrobe. It’s gotten a little hot, so I’m starting to change things up for spring. When I add my warm weather clothes to the closet, most of them look a little tired to me. Many need replacing, but I also feel the urge to dress differently this spring. It could be because there are so many new clothes around, but it could also be an improvement in my taste. I can’t wait to see where this takes me this spring.

what i’m wearing

We attended a beautiful Seder last week and I was wearing this.

i love this dress in raspberry I blew the budget and got this Atlantis blue color. Nordstrom tells me they can easily sew this dress at no cost (I love that!), so I’m considering plucking a few inches off the Raspberry dress to make them look different.

I may not be, though, because they are a wedding guest, bridal party, flamboyant cruise night, etc. They are so perfect for I bought something silvery or beaded. I will also try to dress this up and share what I find.

a note on these sandals..I can’t wear heels for more than ten minutes but this low block heel is very wearable and I can wear it for a special occasion. I wear it nude because it goes with everything and helps elongate the look of your leg.

“Once you start putting on Eileen Fisher, you might say, ‘I’m giving up,’” says a character in Nora and Delia Ephron’s play Love, Loss, and What I Wore.

I couldn’t resist any more. I have been picking and choosing my favorites from their collections for many years and I am far from giving up on fashion.

Hair colour

My ash blonde daughter dyed her strawberry blonde hair last week and it looks amazing!

I’ve always wanted to try strawberry blonde, but I was too scared to try. Looking back, this seems a bit silly because I dyed my hair platinum for a short time. I wore a very short pixie and when I got bored of maintenance, I went back to the highlights.

I DON’T EVEN LIKE THIS PERM BECAUSE MY HAIR STARTED TO FOAM

My mom gave me a bunch of perms when I was younger, and I was treated to one of the corkscrew perms that were very popular in the ’80s. What a disaster!

Several readers have asked if I add highlights to my hair, and the answer is no. Nature makes my hair stand out. I’m enjoying the silver as soon as it arrives and can’t wait to see what happens. I also know it’s one step away from my brittle hair going into the shedding phase, so I’m not going there.

Read

While in Mexico, I had the opportunity to read a small part of an enhanced copy. my brother’s last book, but we had to leave him there with him. He has written several children’s adventure books and now dives into adult action thrillers on Kevin’s street. I I love this wrote that my son is currently reading to my grandson.

STONE COLD REVENGE

I am so proud of my brother that he started and continues to write in his retirement. My father did the same when he retired. I’ve been struggling to write this blog, but I would never call myself a writer. However, I started this blog at the age of 56, which has turned into a full-time effort. It’s never too late and we’re never too old to start a new adventure, ladies.

Recipe of the week

I try to avoid gluten whenever I can, so when I find This dairy-free, gluten-free Lemon Coconut Macaroons recipeI had to try them. I don’t cook it often as I don’t need the extra calories but I had all the ingredients, so I made them yesterday and they are amazing! The cook’s pictures look much better than mine so I can only guess how he tastes, but I’ve already eaten 5 of them and I have to stop! You can find the recipe here.

Are you adventurous in coloring your hair?
