Happy Monday ladies. I hope you had a wonderful holiday! Our granddaughter was a big part of us that made it extra special. Christmas morning with an 8-year-old adds a level of excitement and joy that adults cannot and cannot produce.
I so overestimated the cooking time on our Christmas turkey that it was as dry as a turkey jerky. The drippings fried in the frying pan were a real challenge to produce the gravy so solidly, but we managed to have a great meal and then proceeded with mine (and the NYT Cookbook). famous pecan pie.
My daughter Vanessa and I hit sales yesterday. She found some great sweaters in great colors for spring, some new boots, and we both bought a new lipstick. As the day got longer and we walked, I started wishing for more comfortable slippers.
I’ve never been and never wanted to be a cheerleader, but I love pompoms on a pair of slippers. These look super comfortable and come in tons of colors.
