[ad_1]

Happy Monday ladies. It’s funny that some events stay in your memory. I remember very well what my mother told me Remember, this was the day President Kennedy was killed., I do like that too. Another vivid memory is when I heard that Princess Diana died in a fiery accident. Third, Her Royal Highness The Queen II. That’s when I heard Elizabeth passed away last Thursday. we were on a walking tour La Citadelle de Quebecand almost instantly they lowered the flags at half-mast.

The Queen’s death shouldn’t have come as a surprise as she is 96 years old, but it happened for some strange reason and brought me to tears. When I learned that Canadian currency would now be produced without its like, I immediately ordered another one. Rainbow Queen mug and this mug. It’s silly, I know, but it’s fine with me.

I’m not one to hang her ornaments on my Christmas tree, but a lot of people are.

I remember singing God Save The Queen at school when I was little. I remember very well seeing him up close during one of his visits to New Westminster, BC. She was the youngest lady! It inspired me to study the breed and we brought the Corgis to our family, which we adore.

His log tile turned out to be my fine tile… Royal Dalton Cantonese pattern. I just took out our teapot, but the lid seems to be missing. Neither of us remember breaking it, but it was die cut, so we may be out of luck. Queen paraphernalia has always been popular, but I hope it will only increase as people miss its balancing presence.

thoughts on style

Travel never fails to make me rethink my style recipe. I love nothing more than watching people dress inspiration and observing how other ladies put their looks together. The girls that stood out to me were wearing a classic sole that they accentuated with something artistic or creative. Bright colors and patterns were not as popular as I expected. The jewelry looked modest, but unique shapes were in the foreground.

I have several pairs of lantern pants that are almost full and I wish I had brought them. I saw a few girls rocking themselves and a few others wearing barrel-legged pants. I prefer mine in a slightly draped knit fabric which makes them perfect for travel… next time 🙂
