Monday Music – Plaid – A Good Life

[ad_1]

Happy Monday ladies. I’ve been thinking about plaid lately. I know, the world is falling apart 🙂 Last weekend we tasted some cooler weather and it got me in the mood comfort, soft fabrics and good books and hot tea to settle in. After being stranded in the heat, I was able to turn off the air conditioner and open the windows for a few hours, which was a great pleasure.

I stumbled upon this red plaid cape last week and it screamed autumn!
I got my first plaid product a few years ago when Talbots sent me a gorgeous scarf to thank you for working with them. I wasn’t sure if I was going to wear it (I’m a bit of a pattern phobia) but as soon as I added it to my denim outfit, I saw how perfect it was for the season.

I’ve since added a plaid shirt, some plaid pants, and a few plaid scarves. I had my eye on a pair of plaid shoes last winter, but they’ve become too stiff to be comfortable.

Plaid has a sporty feel that I just got into. It’s a casual, traditional fall staple that’s classic and easy to incorporate into both your wardrobe and home decor. I have fond memories of soft flannel plaid pajamas as a kid, and I wonder if things like this still exist, as well as adults.

Instead of taupe shoes, I decided to separate the black collar with my foot to match my trousers and lengthen the look of my legs. Black Velvet Birdies. I wore so many of these that I finally broke down and placed an order. leopard print.

I’m seeing more and more home decorations in plaids these days, I think it’s because people are getting ready for the holidays.

I like and wear very few patterns. I am aware that all my loved ones are symmetrical. They are clean and tidy. Stripes, polka dots, checks and now plaid appeal to my sense of order and order.

Are you a plaid fan? What prints are you interested in?
