Happy Monday ladies. Ever heard of the dopamine dressing? Looks like rage and I hadn’t heard of it until last week.

Dopamine Dressing

It’s all about wearing clothes and accessories that make you feel good. Dopamine is the “happy” hormone in our brain that affects our mood, motivation and attention. Many of us have been using fashion to influence how we feel for the past few years, and I don’t think that will change anytime soon. Color can be a fast track to happiness for many of us, and there’s a lot of color out there… remember. this is DRD?

Many find pink a happy color, I know. this jacket reversible so you get 2 coats in 1 🙂 I am very impressed with this $50 Quince cashmere sweater, I ordered this navy blue and light blue color. I love them! They do require a bit more lint after washing them, but for $50 this is a no-brainer for me. BTW, I’ve used sweater shavers for years but since I discovered this is GleanerI’ve never looked back.

I read more novels than non-fiction because they were so comforting. I’m not sure when that changed but I haven’t been reading a lot of fiction lately, so I decided that my upcoming Hawaii trip needed a total getaway and bought a pile of novels.

deadly legacy

I hate to say that I chose a book by its cover, but I admit that this image appeals to me. by books Jean Rhys They were my biggest favourites when I was in college, so I imagine the name influenced my choice as well. I’m a little neurotic about books I love and expect several of Jean Rhys’s books to still be in a box in my garage. Do you reread novels? I’ll be going through my boxes to look for these.

I don’t listen to many podcasts but I’m addicted It With Christine Scaman and Jorunn Hernes. I started following months before I discovered the Sci-Art system for personal color analysis. I reached out to Christine and explained my experience with virtual analytics, so they invited me to chat with them to discuss. you can listen here You are here.

Based on what the analysis could see on their monitors with my non-precise photos, I almost wrote it off as more than one season. I came across Sci-Art and knew they were different because I couldn’t convince any of their analysts to do a virtual PCA on me. They insisted they couldn’t learn my true colors without a face-to-face cover, and they knew I knew why.

I got a color breakdown and analysis from someone. Leading instructors in the Science-Art System When I flew to Palm Springs a few weeks ago. This system is based on the color theories of Albert H. Munsell, who developed a 3-dimensional system that classifies colors by hue, value, and chroma using the science of color and human vision.

JUST SOME OF MY LAST PALLETS… DO YOU SEE THE NON-MIXING THINGS?

None of you will be surprised to hear that I am a real summer… but surprisingly, I was. I knew my skin had a cool undertone with a neutral/warm tone, but my confidence was severely tested when the analyst presented different seasons in a row. I wrote one summer, twice, then an autumn, then a spring.

You should know that each system uses different criteria to decipher your season. You might be spring on one and summer on the other, but your swatches should look alike. Your priorities and goals will determine how specific you want your palette to be. If you’re doing this for fun, a seat virtual analysis might suffice.

A Science-Art analysis is not based on the analyst’s opinion. It is based on how your skin reacts to colored curtains and what you see with your own eyes. I watched my red spots flatten, but when they did, all My complexion has receded and my lips have lost definition. He told me that the colors that suit me best focus on my face, they don’t change me. Compliance is exactly that. Since the colors in my palette have the same characteristics as the colors on my skin, they match me.

If color analysis is a stretch for you, don’t worry! I will continue to show and style clothes in all colors for you, but my wardrobe will be rebuilt with the clothes in my palette 🙂
