Monday Music and Dress of the Week

[ad_1]

Happy Monday ladies. We celebrated three October birthdays over the weekend so it was a very busy time. We also had a few cold days, which makes me so excited to finally put on my fall clothes!

they estimate he’ll be 6’5″ so I realize it won’t feel much different from that

My daughter and aunt came to visit and we had a great time. We took my grandson to the pumpkin field, carved pumpkins, painted crafts, and made a bunch of spooky treats. My grandson is at such a sweet age and still loves to play with us and all the Halloween festivities. One of my favorite moments this weekend was when my daughter and grandson tried on Halloween costumes at Target and danced up and down the aisles. It was funny and so much fun.

I put some pumpkins on my fireplace and ate more Halloween cookies than I could admit. My daughter and I spent Friday night taking a deep skincare dive with all the new products she bought… later. We spent Sunday night barbecuing at my son’s new home… a family and fun-filled birthday weekend after all.

LOOK OF THE WEEK

right after you decide i would pass I found a few pairs I like in this fall retro sneaker trend. This week’s outfit of the week started with a neutral pair. I added a soft flannel shirt, straight-leg jeans, a long quilted vest, and a comfortable crossbody bag.

QUILTED VEST / FLANEL SHIRT / FLAT LEG JEANS / RETRO SUEDE TRAINERS / CROSS BAG / GLOVES / CITRINE EARRINGS / IN LIPSTICK INTUITION

These gloves are touchscreen friendly so you can use them without having to take your phone out. I bought this lipstick Last week and I love it! I was bored of pink and this dark mauve is a nice alternative for fall. Jeans have a high waist and straight legs, my jeans are my go-to these days. I love how the flannel blends the colors of the denim and vest.

BRA FITTING

When was the last time you had a professional bra fitted? My daughter and I sneaked into Nordstroms this weekend for a quick shopping trip and we both went for a fit with a certified professional. We were both shocked by the results! I could have sworn I was wearing the right size but obviously things have changed.

If you haven’t worn a bra in a few years (or at all), chances are you’re not wearing the right size. Many of us go for convenience, and as a result, we wear straps that are too big for us and a cup that may be too small. We went to the store to try new bras on Sunday with our new recommended sizes and went home. this is by Natori.

Our tempo is expected to hit the 80s again this week, but then hopefully it cools off for the season. I’m really sick of hot weather and excited to see all my warm weather clothes in the rearview mirror.

Is it cold where you are?

Thanks for reading, and be sure to wear what makes you feel safe.
