Monday Music – A Quick Visit to the Desert

Happy Monday ladies. My brain is busy with many things this week. I just got back from a very quick (48 hour) trip to Palm Springs. I came with colors and clothes suitable for where I live, but after spending an hour in the desert I’m starting to feel like I’m wearing boring clothes 🙂

Palm Springs

It wasn’t warm, but the weather seemed to demand brighter colors and more comfortable shapes. Removing my configured blazer helped but wasn’t enough. I wanted to wear flowy, bright, cheerful fabrics, but the only caftan I brought with me never saw the light of day on this trip because for me it’s a style stretch.

I took off and wore all the stops to fly home my blue sweater! Still not vibrant but more colorful than neutrals.

And why was I in Palm Springs? A color analysis that blew my mind. I shouldn’t be surprised by the results, but I am. I have a lot to absorb about what I’ve learned and will be sharing more in the near future. I expect this to be my last color consultation for a while because I’ve finally found someone who has convinced me of my real season.

miracles

I meant to read Course of Miracles for many years and feared its length. My friend insisted that when I found great reviews for it, I should dig into it. this abridged audiobook, I decided this was a great starting point. Have you read A Course in Miracles?

WOW

It Wow hair shine spray just amazing! It is not greasy or greasy in the least and does not change the texture of my hair. This is the last thing I spray on my hair in the morning and it gives it a radiant shine. One of my best discoveries in a long time.

I’m slowly building my collection Nude Mineral lipstick the last few months and I love them. They moisturize without being goopy and stay on very, very well…which is important under a mask. I focused on pinks but I plan to dive into other shades as well. My latest work is Creativity, which is very beautiful.

What’s in a name?

I consider myself as modern and progressive as the next woman. The names of some beauty products bother me for some reason. I was shopping for eyeshadow on Saturday and I found a eyeshadow I like by Urban Decay. I thought I wouldn’t buy it as most of the product names were hyped. I was thrilled to discover that her name was simply ‘.Mushrooms“So I bought it and loved it. It looks very metallic but goes on pretty matte, go ahead.

They make a wonderful mascara called perversion I stopped using this name because it bothered me. I know such names are part of their brand message, but this year I am determined to bring beauty and grace into my life and they are discouraging me. Am I alone here?
