Monday Inspirations – New Sneaks and Some Outfits

Happy Monday ladies. Our weekend weather improved briefly, but not long enough to warm up. It’s colder than I remember for March and it rains most days but I won’t whine too much because I know it’s warm compared to where most of you live. I actually love the change of seasons and the variety in the air. That means I need to have more variety in my wardrobe before I change things up.

I only remembered to shoot two outfits last week.

This was my outfit for a rainy, dirty day when I had a lot of work to do. I wore this long cashmere cardigan over a turtleneck plain sweater. bootcut jeansAnd high-top platform sneakers. I bought this cozy cardigan in Haven last winter and have reached for it more times than I can count. this was my first heaven buy it, but it won’t be my last. I bought these sneakers on a whim. I tried regular Chuck Taylors but they felt pretty flat. Then I tried it on these platforms, it has a very high bounce rate and is very comfortable. I also love how the high anklet slides under a bootcut leg.

I had no plans to go out today, so I put on my clothes. Talbots cozy cotton sweater with me T by Talbots stretch pants and Ugg slippers. My lipstick was already worn out by this point, but here’s… what I wear while working from home all day.

Birkenstocks have always been popular, but they’ve become quite the rage for spring. All rubber and rubber-like versions are popping up everywhere. Many stores also carry similar versions. i noticed these and decided to try them. They’re surprisingly comfortable to wear at home instead of slippers, and they give a lot of support to my arches.
