Happy Monday ladies. As usual, reflections are pretty haphazard this week. You know I shop more than usual when my daughter is at home. Our selection of shoes in the US is far superior to what he finds in Canada, so we reviewed several shoe departments. I go double to find and wear the most comfortable shoe I can, because sore feet are pits.
Toes and Balance
It never occurred to me before I found these great toes… wearing shoes or even walking barefoot can cause the ligaments and muscles in our toes to contract.
Our balance and stability become more and more important as we age, and weak toes don’t help. These toe separators were developed by the founder of YOGABODY to reverse life-long buckled toes and tight feet that make it difficult to balance in yoga class. “They are often used to relieve foot pain, plantar fasciitis, tendinitis, hammertoe, bunions, overlapping toes, lack of finger dexterity, and poor walking and balance problems.”

I couldn’t put my feet in any shoes wearing these, so I wear them for 30+ minutes morning and evening. I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks now and I find my feet are less strained and less sore and I hope they help my balance.
Shower
We attended the most beautiful bridal shower over the weekend. They had lavender lemonades that I forgot to get the recipe for but I’ll have it because it was so refreshing.
Fortunately, our sweltering temperatures had cooled off a bit, so we sat in the beautiful backyard and celebrated the upcoming weddings.
I thought this beautiful flower station was such a clever idea! All guests must make their own bouquets to bring home as souvenirs. I controlled my urge to clean the screen 😊.
