Monday Breezes- Holiday Eating, Birks and OOTW

Happy Monday ladies. Ever since we came back from Mexico, I find myself living in more casual, comfortable clothes. I was busy at home and reaching for me Vuori performance running shoes every morning. I wish they would make more stylish clothes out of that fabric. The guacamole, margaritas, and Poblano sauce I eat while on vacation may be influencing my clothing choices… but whatever the reason, I’m on the loose these days.

I searched for recipes on the Internet and discovered that they were made with different ingredients. Most of your recipes seem time consuming, so when visiting my brother there might be something I like. I found this This one comes in a bottle, but I’m not sure I like the sound of some ingredients. Have you done or tried this?

Birkenstocks

I wore This waterproof slide is Birkenstocks Almost every day in Mexico, whether it matches what I’m wearing or not. I had bought them to wear at home as “house shoes” but I thought they would be perfect for Mexico and they were.

Since I bought it as house shoes, I had to change it to have a clean pair I can wear at home, and I went for the lavender color. I see lavender everywhere for spring and it’s so cheerful. My sister-in-law wore this Gizeh style leather and she loved them, so did I I just ordered these to test them.

I’ve always thought of Birkenstocks as a hippie shoe, and while I was a bit of a hippie at the time, I never fell for its bohemian aesthetic. Over the past few months, I’ve wondered more than once if I should change my style to accommodate the comfort of my feet.

One reader told me that I shouldn’t expect leather Birks to be this comfortable right out of the box, and there’s been a period of getting used to it. The trademark contoured cork insoles are made to conform to the shape of your foot and provide customized arch support and shock absorption that these waterproof models can’t.

I discovered Pappilo versions as I dived into Birkenstocks. They’re made on the same cork soles as the originals, but the uppers were designed by a team that created more fashion-forward styles in terms of colors and prints. fur sandals it’s on sale above, so I ordered the blue to try it out. I’ll keep you posted on my shoe success.

Dress of the Week

I’m seeing a comfort theme this Monday, so I’ve put together this OOTW featuring them. Spanx pull-on jeans. It has slightly extended legs that are very trending this spring.

This cashmere shirt It’s a personal favorite for under $45 and comes in tons of colors. Perfect year-round, but especially in the spring. Woven bags are on trend this year and this is a great price with a choice of 6 colors that are vegan. The casual sweater blazer jacket is easy to wear and is distinctive. Mephisto sandals are all about comfort. These are cork-based and come in a variety of colors. I would wear this light fragrance which is perfect for this spring. I caught my eye these earrings years and this two-tone version is finally on sale. Looking at this outfit, I realized that I would be totally happy to wear this entire look.
