J.Crew autumn winter outfits petite cream mini skirt

J.Crew is selling pretty well until Cyber Week, so I wanted to round up some notable pieces before I run out of sizes! You can see these outfits in action. IG video. i did too folder in my LTK Searchable for J.Crew essays and outfits and if you’re looking for quick information on a particular piece.

If you’re looking for a shorter over-the-knee trench with a removable hood for rainy days from their current sale, icon trench coat FINALLY 40% has been included in the promotion (always excluded until now), but many sizes are up for pre-order. see me too here and here.

Bristol Blazer

In petite, classic and long sizes.

This is a well-made blazer with beautifully textured zigzag fabric and gold buttons that aren’t too shiny. Herringbone color goes well with both brown and black tones and looks sharp against winter white as well. The fabric is medium weight with full lining. I also tried on A&F check blazer jacket In comparison, it’s thicker and boxier and wasn’t a protection for me personally. As the name suggests, this blazer can be worn under a larger layer, while the A&F is more of a jacket you would wear as the outermost layer.

The Bristol blazer is definitely a more expensive piece and I hope it goes on sale more for those who are interested. The cut is more boyfriend style and not as tight as theirs. regent blazer (to see on me), a piece that is also on sale and that I recommend to those new to the work wardrobe.

J.Crew gets his autumn winter outfit

I wanted to show the back of this outfit and their shape. Ann Taylor booties slightly better (it also comes in brown). These are winners, from the modern toe shape to the comfortable heel and versatile thin “sock” shaft that fits nicely under jeans and trousers. The retail price for faux suede is way too high, so I’ll definitely keep my eyes peeled for a good sale to share!

Supersoft Turtleneck Sweater

Dimensions xxs – 3X. 9 colors

Really comfortable and super soft to touch. There are several pieces inside Supersoft yarn collection Including a round neckline and this knit sweater. The stand-up neck on this one isn’t very high but now I’m in the habit of always rolling my necks down for a “mini” stand-up so the photos here all show it folded in half! This is a light-medium weight, relaxed fit sweater that fits under me without too much clumping and folds well under blazers.

Kate Straight Pants

**Not included in today’s sale but hopefully soon!**
Available in petite, regular and tall sizes. 10 colors

While I still love my thinly cropped Cameron pants (to see on me) and while I continue to recommend them frequently, the newer Kate pants are a welcome update with a straight cut that feels a little more modern. The full length also provides a little more coverage for those who hate exposed ankles in the winter! I’m 1.70 cm tall and the petite length works perfectly to wear with flats or even sneakers without rolling up the hems, for those who like sneakers with pants.

I bought the camel color first and also the white to try on, not being sure about the condition of the white trouser pockets. The pocket outline in the white DO looks a little FYI, but the fabric is tough enough to not dazzle. You can see my video highlight the white pants and decide for yourself!

Compared to A&F straight trousers reviewed in a review last post, J.Crew Kate has a custom waist with non-elastic back, the fabric feel is slightly higher for workwear, and the length is shorter. The inseam is 26″ for Kate in Petite, 26″ for Short A&F and I found both pairs fit TTS.

This skirt is the cutest and unfortunately their smaller sizes are almost selling out! If you’re looking for an ivory tweed skirt, Ann Taylor there is also one right now, in smaller sizes that hopefully should go on sale soon.

Teddy Sherpa Women’s Coat

In petite and normal size

This is the super discount updated sherpa jacket that I must try in the store. It’s fully lined, comfortable, and I’m surprised a 00-goer worked for me at J.Crew. I find petite coats with shorter sleeves than other brands, so if you’re petite but have long sleeves, I recommend trying their normal size.

Laurel Topcoat

In petite, regular and tall sizes

This has crazy mixed reviews online and after trying it I totally understand why. This jacket is unlined and you can see the inside seams unlike my double faced wool Uniqlo jacket with the inside seams covered. I’d call it a weight-wise coat rather than a winter coat.

A few of you have texted me saying you live in the south and love this jacket for mild winters, but I know others will be off by the unlined and open seams. The jacket has a nice shape so it depends on what you are looking for. After trying this in a few different colors, I would recommend camel or darker colors over cream. Even though the cream color is beautiful, I think if you wear a top with a shiny print underneath, it can stand out!
