Good Friday ladies. I saw some new colors in the J.Jill window this week, so I went to take a look to see what’s new in J.JIll.
If you’re new here, welcome. The locker room diary is when I go to a local store for a trial session so you can see what’s new and how it looks on a woman over 25. For reference, I’m 5’4″ tall and weigh about 134lbs. I have flat hips, broad shoulders, a long torso, and long arms. I usually go a size up on the top. I want you to see and get some style ideas. To help you understand how things work, I tell you what sizes I wear.
J.Jill has made it easy to resize each style so that it is now available in r.organised Size XS-4X. Petite and tall are still available in some popular styles and all sizes are the same price. here is my previous J. JIll DRD early August.

I see boyfriend jeans everywhere these days. They are intended to be more comfortable throughout the leg and hip with a relaxed vibe. these jeans It comes in four colors. I’m wearing a porcini. All are shown with a rolled up hem, but the hem is finished so you can open them up. Here are the inseams – R medium 27″ inseam (roll), R 2X 27″ inseam (roll), P medium 24½” inseam (roll), T medium 30″ inseam (roll).
flowering ruana It is as light and transparent as a feather. It feels a bit like a poncho. I could even see I tied the front ends together to make them shorter… but I forgot to take a photo of this 🙂 The pattern seems to have every color so it will go over a lot of things.

Same look with a different topper. This time with one beautiful kimono Multicolored embroidery along the front and cuffs. A beautiful smoky blue color that will look great with many colors. These reversible tanks run small, so I went out to a medium and it’s still comfortable. They come in six colors and I recommend getting one size up.

Same boyfriend jeans as above but in a deeper wash that looks less sporty…when you pull the cuffs down. A rolled cuff on any jeans makes them more comfortable. This is plaid tunic shirt Bleach Spray is a distressed soft indigo shade with a worn feeling. It is long enough to be worn over tight pants or tights and covers your back.
white pima tank it has a wide mold that doesn’t stick to the hub… always a plus in my book. The round neckline is modest and the hip length makes it versatile.

These pull-on jeans It is an enduring favorite at J. Jill. They feel as comfortable as a sweatpants but with a jean look. They come in two colors, this is Grotto wash. It has 4% spandex so it should never go out! I love it classic v-neck sweater! A very fine cotton blend knit that comes in five colors. I’m wearing navy. It fits size and is a great layer to wear in the fall, but you can’t wear wool.

These slim-legged pants they are designed to be cropped, but I wear the regular ones. They come in three colors with these inseams: R 25″, P 23″ and T 27″. It is a super soft cotton modal blend containing 5% spandex. The pull-on style seems a little legging to me, so it will probably look best with a long top that covers your back.

Barn jackets are very popular in the fall. this jacket comes in two warm shades, this is Light Tigers Eye. The fabric is so soft it’s like a sweatshirt. It seems like I’ve said that a lot, but that’s how J. Jill fabrics feel…comfortable. The big buttons add to the sporty vibe and my arthritic fingers found them easy to make 🙂 This color would look great with black or any dark brown I found in stores.

I had an impossible time to find link of this cardigan because I couldn’t recognize it on the website! You can see how it matches the honey undershirt here, but it’s much cooler on the website. I love this kind of color gradation that lets you coordinate with lots of colors. The sleeves are pretty long for me on this petite so I think it’s a bit long, which is nice if you’re short with long sleeves.

Here are the same soft slim trousers, in a speckled gray shade. These feel like the most comfortable sweats, but the shape makes them look brighter. tunic top It is light heather gray cotton. It will look great with white pants now and darker pants going into fall. I love the gentle A-line and the shirt hem adds softness to the figure.
The more I dive into the different J. Jill collections, the more I see the value in each one. Do you have a favorite collection or do you shop the whole store?
Thanks for reading, and be sure to wear what makes you feel safe.
