Locker Room Diary- Ann Taylor

Happy Tuesday ladies. Thank you very much for all the information you provided yesterday, it was really helpful. Last week I saw a jacket on Instagram that sent me to the store. I tried the jacket and a few other things. My hair is a little straight because it rained on me, but it was worth bringing you this locker room journal from Ann Taylor.

If you’re new here, welcome. The locker room diary can see what’s new and how it looks on a woman over 25 when I go to a local store for a trial session. shoulders and straight hips. I have a long torso and arms so I usually get a size up. I try on clothes in colors and shapes that may or may not spoil me so you can see what’s in store and get style ideas. I love a fun tweed jacket and this color is one of my favourites, so I’ve experimented with a few things. Normal and petite come in 00-14. I’m wearing a petite 6 so this is intended to be a low hip length. Interestingly, this is machine washable! Somewhat adapted but not form fitting.

I’m wearing it with Ann’s perfect white shirt. This is a cotton blend with 3% spandex so it’s very comfortable. It comes in evasion and minions, I wear 00-18, 10 minions so it stays true to size (TTS). These are Ann Taylor’s 12 1/4″ high-rise jeans. They come in petite, regular, long, straight cut, and curvy- 00-18. I wear a regular size 6, expected it to be longer, so it’s probably just above the ankle. had to.

These floral petite cardigans didn’t exist, so I folded the bottom a few inches below for better proportion with the shorts. The sweater is 100% cotton and is lightweight. I wear something normal in a suitable but very long setting.

Wide leg crops come in 5 colors, regular, petite, and 00-18. They are a high rise cotton/polyester/spandex blend. I’m wearing 6 so they run TTS.

I also tried crop tops with this blue and white floral blouse. It comes in regular and petite, XXS-XL. I’m wearing a medium petite. The shirt is straight, the pants are wide and I’m straight which is not a nice combination, so I tied the shirt around my waist to show that I almost have one :).

I own a few of the mixed media tops and find them invaluable. Knit on the back and woven on the front provide a polished look and the comfort of a tee. They come in regular and petite, XXS-XXL. I’m wearing a medium petite. This chambray pencil skirt can take you to the office or dress you up with keds and a tee. Normal and petite come in 00-18. Softly embedded in linen/cotton/spandex. I wear a regular 4 which is a bit long on me.

Linen-blend cardigan is available in 3 colors and sizes XXS-XXL. I wear small. I would have preferred a shorter cardigan with this skirt but my Ann Taylor has a limited selection in the floor.

These cotton plaid pants have a nice slim fit. They come in 5 colors, regular, petite, long, straight cut and curvy. The regular has a 26″ inseam, the petite has a 24″ inseam, and the tall has a 26″ inseam, which begs the question…What’s the difference between regular and tall? I wear 4 petite. It’s 97% cotton, 3% elastane and machine washable. These are a nice alternative to chinos if that sounds too boxy for you.

The cardigan is another classic “Ann” style, this time in medium petite black. It also comes in navy blue or white. Ann cardigan comes in tons of other colors and patterns you can see it here.

As it happens occasionally, I can’t find both, so if you find them please let me know.

This white high waisted bootie jeans on the right comes in size 00-14 regular and petite. I wear a regular 4 so they don’t look cropped on me. The regular model has a 27-inch inseam and the petite model has a 25-inch inseam. Made from a new performance stretch denim that feels great on it.

These houndstooth plants are super cute and very comfortable. They come in sizes 00-18, normal, petite, tall, straight and curvy. Longs are only available in a black and white option. Longs have a 34″ inseam, regulars have a 27″ inseam and these minions have a 25″ inseam. They are a machine washable cotton blend.

My local stores carry fewer and fewer collections in-store each month, so I think we may need to shop more and more online to make the best selection.
