Happy Wednesday ladies. The fresh colors at Talbots literally pulled me in the door, and as friends and family discounts continue, I wanted to see what’s new so you can save 30% on everything.

This pink and white sweater is in a print called Groovy, which I tend to agree with :). Reminds me of the “mod” prints we saw a lot in the 70s. It is 100% cotton and machine washable. I love the V-neck, but remember that the horizontal stripe that runs across the hips will broaden the look of your hips. I’m wearing it with these Bristol pants available in three colours. They have a cotton, Tencel/spandex blend, high waist and elastic back waistband, making them very comfortable.
This lace up striped dress has a definite nautical vibe with string ties at the front. This is a body-hugging sheath style with super soft cotton with spandex for ease of wear. It also comes in a bright marigold color.
this is jean jackIt’s a size too big for me so it looks bulkier than it should be. I love the vibe of this fresh, citrus floral dress. The jacket comes in 6 happy colors, I am wearing Somerset Peach. This side tie jersey dress features ultra-thin 7% elastane for a snug fit and loose shape.
These wavy crops There is a lemon and orange print on a white background. Featuring a high waist, side zip fastening, and slim legs in a cropped length. They are not that short on me as I am wearing a lady, which I prefer. I’m wearing this basic cotton crew neck t-shirt It comes in 15 colors. These pima t-shirts are great workhorses in a spring/summer wardrobe.
I couldn’t resist it beautiful maxi dress covered with orange and lemon. Not my colors but very fun. This dress makes me wish I had a garden party to go with a big straw hat and a straw handbag. It’s a lightweight cotton voile fully lined with cotton, so it will be pretty cool on a hot day.
This 100% linen popover dress has a very comfortable feel with its strapped neckline and self-tie belt. it comes too two cross paint soft and muted colors here. I see this dress with a straw bag, neutral colored sandals and a few raffia earrings.
I love the juxtaposition of this denim shirt this is feminine eyelet skirt. Talbots makes great denim and chambray shirts. It’s a boyfriend style, so it feels long and too much to tuck into. This skirt is 100% cotton with a cotton lining and I think you can really wear it on or off. It has a side, zipper closure, and A-line shape that flatters most women.
this striped skirt Cotton/spandex canvas type fabric with side zip features a fun, bright citrus print. i wear with this Riviera graphic tee which I probably wouldn’t have paired together. This tee would be fun with a pair of white jeans or solid colored pants. I threw this open seam cardigan over it, but I would have preferred the cardigan to something sleeveless. I didn’t like that you could see the sleeves through the open weave of the braid. Talbots makes this handy little cardigan in 4 colors, making it a great base for covering arms.
It’s 100% linen cardigan It comes in five colors and is a great piece to wear in warm weather. I wear the sage brush color because I love its fit with these linen linen crops. These broad-legged plants It can be easily put on and taken off in 3 colors. you saw me share this little tank before. It’s a fun layering piece that can go under a lot of things as the colors are pretty neutral. It has a little frill at the neck for a feminine touch.
This button front shirt It is in a very light, breathable cotton. tied around your waist these belted crops because when I put on the pants, you could see the bright color from the top. If I wore these pieces together, I would have removed the drawstring waistband to reduce too much detail at the waist. These crop tops come in three colors in a cotton spandex blend and have a nice height for a modern fit.
This jersey one line dress it comes in pale blue and white or this dark blue and white. It’s A-line shaped in highly gatherable nylon/spandex fabric and would be great to wear with a pair of white skins to go on vacation or for casual days around the city. I love the contrast printed V-neck. I added a shrug for some arm protection.
I needed a size 6 or 8 on this dress but there were so many ladies trying them that I couldn’t find a smaller one. This shirred poplin midi dress Made from 100% cotton, this shiny comes in Marigold or black. It has a fit and wide shape due to the three-quarter sleeves and waist drawstring.
